They are remodeling. Construction in lobby. No water. Pantry is literally empty. No acknowledgement of Diamond status. Check in takes way to long (45 minutes and two people to figure it out) Room old. No usb c plugs. No usb a plugs. Bathroom dirty. Would not use shower because of this. No airport shuttle. It was so bad I canceled all of my future stays here and booked another hotel.

Excellent hotel, I hope to stay here again! The location is perfect. We walked or took public transportation everywhere--we did not need a car or even a taxi/Uber. Room is as expected for a Hampton Inn, as was the included breakfast. They will also give you a little bagged breakfast if you have to leave before breakfast time, which we did twice. The staff is amazing. Upon check in, the manager (I think...or just an awesome worker if she was not the manager) gave us some tips about the area, and I mentioned that we were vegan and she gave us a whole brochure that she had made herself that listed vegan (and I believe gluten-free also) restaurants in the area. That is next-level service for a hotel of this price. We were there for six nights the end of July/beginning of August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Hotel with a Great Price
Stopped for one night on our way to the coast from Seattle. Couldnt have been happier with our choice. Several restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff. Clean hotel with microwave and fridge

Super time!
We stayed at this hotel and had a great time! The poop is so good for kids and their breakfast is amazing. The kids had waffles with blueberries and chocolate chips! The people here so nice amd out room was very clean! You guys did super!

Excellent choice for Portland!
Wonderful! The hotel GM, Hugh, wanders through the breakfast room asking about guests’ experiences. That’s impressive; you don’t see that very often. The front desk staff is so helpful (especially Maria). Good suggestions for nearby restaurants. And the breakfast buffet has an abundance of options. For guests who are rushing out the door, grab-and-go breakfast bags and coffee. Eco-friendly shampoo and shower gel in wall-mounted containers mean they’re not tossing a lot more small containers into landfills. Overall, a gem of a hotel and a wonderful value.
