Family friendly stay

The staff were all incredibly friendly to our kids (a toddler and infant). Angie remembered our son’s name and greeted him each time she saw him. This was extra special to him since traveling with littles can be stressful. We spent some of our trip at the pool of course, both kids had a blast which was great. The indoor pool with kids area was the main reason we booked this hotel specifically. All the front desk and valet staff were very accommodating the entire stay. The valet supervisor, Alex, was a great help and super friendly. We did a lot of walking this location was central to a lot of great restaurants too!

The perfect hotel in Portland

I love this hotel so much. It's close to everything you could want to go to. Clean, quiet, comphy, with a great lobby and nice amenities. I always thought of Hampton Inn as a budget brand but it felt like staying in a really nice, thoughtfully designed hotel. We switched from another hotel to stay here and were so glad we did.

Good hotel stay

Love the hotel however there’s always room for improvement. I am a Hilton gold member and online it showed I am entitled to receive bottled water and snacks but didn’t received when I checked in. They don’t do cleaning services unless you asked or schedule in advance. Not a fan of this procedure plus staying three nights and asking for towels was a bit of inconvenient especially when you get back late from day of exploring. Public transportation is not really close by. Lots of restaurants nearby so that is good. Breakfast is normal and they offer eggs, potato, and either bacon or sausage. They do have quite a few waffle maker. Lobby offers coffee, tea all day long I just wish they offer water in the lobby too. They have nice lounge area in the lobby, huge seating area and roof top patio to hang around. Rooms are clean and would definitely go back to this hotel.

This Hotel has a Great Staff

What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel smack dab in the heart of the Pearl District. Great, helpful, cheerful staff, hot breakfast, small but well laid out room, laundry facilities, exercise room, pool.

Enjoyable stay in Portland area

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Portland provided a relaxing and fun stay during my week of business meetings. The complementary breakfast was just right. The staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities like the 8th floor outdoor deck and open area bar were nice extras. I would definitely recommend Hampton Inn for your next stay in down town Portland.
