They are willing to help people with no judgement
Her name is Anissa --- I had such an unexpectedly wonderful experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Portland/Tigard that I felt compelled to share it. The front desk associate went above and beyond in a way you honestly don’t see very often anymore. She kindly allowed us to print off shipping labels without hesitation, without judgment, and without even knowing whether we were guests. She didn’t make us feel uncomfortable or questioned — she simply saw someone who needed help and chose to help. That level of genuine kindness and professionalism is rare. In places like this, you might expect policies, pushback, or indifference — but instead, we were met with compassion and generosity. It speaks volumes about her character and about the culture of this hotel. If I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would. She represents the kind of hospitality that truly makes a difference. Hampton Inn has themselves a great employee — and that kind of service does not go unnoticed. Thank you for restoring a little faith in customer service.

Poor Guest Relations
This was an unpleasant stay for a couple of days. My husband was in town for work and we carefully selected a Hilton property to stay in for a week. It was hard to reach the front desk when we needed help pr to ask a question. The front desk staff was rude or non responsive on chat. We had to literally ask numerous times for housekeeping to come clean and or pick up trash and provide towels and fresh linen. Language barrier was an issue with the housekeeping but we tried to communicate the best way we knew how Escalated concerns to property manager and emails were ignored thus escalating to guest relations. Forgot a bag that had my mediations and water on checkout. When I called the front desk the manager promised to look into it and contact me the next day. I never got the call. This hotel had a welcome sign with my name on it and the room had not even been cleaned. Also the property overall was sloppy and just in general not clean. Even though I got reimbursed via points when I escalated to guest relations. I would never stay here again They should do better.

Very Filthy.
Completely Filthy. Floors in the both the hallway and room had noticeable soot and debris. I told the front desk gal that we were leaving and could not bear to sleep here, she seemed non-caring and no apologies.

lack of cleaning services
When we checked in, I requested daily cleaning of the room. During our 7 day stay, the room was fully cleaned ONE time and only after I had asked the front desk repeatedly for 4 straight days. I learned from the front desk that I was not the only one with cleaning issues.

Solid Stay in Tigard
Had a great stay at the Tigard location. The hotel was extremely clean, still feels new, and the AGM Erica was very friendly at check-in. They recognized my Honors status and I enjoyed the waffles, fitness center, and hotel location-convenient to freeway.
