Frenchglen Hotel is a small slice of peace and quiet in southeastern Oregon at the gateway to the mighty Steens Mountain. You don't need to drive to the Sierra Nevada or Montana to get that glorious wide-open sky feeling. Come and enjoy the history and unique beauty of this timeless piece of Oregon history.
Much like stagecoach travelers of the early 20th Century, you can stay in one of the hotel's rustic rooms. The dining room and lobby are great places to meet and get to know your fellow travelers. And like the olden days, the restrooms are down the hall.
The operating season is March 15-October 31. Please note that the Drover's Inn requires a 2-night minimum. The historic hotel has single-night availability. Please also note that the Drover's Inn is pet friendly but the historic hotel is not.
For dining, breakfast is served daily, lunch is served Sunday – Thursday and a family style dinner is served 7 nights a week, promptly at 6:30pm. Dinner is by reservation only, and is $30 per person. A wide variety of food is serviced, but it is always fresh, always homemade, and always includes dessert. Get to know your fellow travelers and locals over a delicious meal, the perfect way to end a day of adventure. With limited seating, and only one service per night, hotel guests are given priority. To make a reservation for dinner as a non-guest, please contact the Hotel within 2 weeks of your desired reservation date.
