Best value room at Pdx
A real value. Park your car before or after your stay at about half the cost of the airport. Parked our car just in front of the front desk so great security. Free shuttle to the airport. They picked us up at 3 am when our flight was late. The super kind lady at the desk gave us free later checkout so we would not worry about over sleeping. The free breakfast was excellent! This included something they called fritas, similar to quiche and really tasty. The coffee was great. Super comfortable beds. We forgot all about the horrible day of flight delays. We used to stay at the Sheraton Pdx but this is a much better value. Thanks to the hotel staff who are obviously trying hard to

Marriott No Longer Cares About Service
It's only a Fairfield, but I guess Marriott no longer cares about service. These were the issues: 1) The containers in the shower were empty when we arrived. Really? 2) We stayed 4 days but only got housekeeping services 1 day even though we asked for service every day! Don't knock yourself out. 3) Even that service was poor: the supplies weren't replenished, so I had to go to the front desk to get them. 4) When I complained, the hotel's attempt to "make things right" was as poor as the service. They paid for one night's parking ($8 - wow, how generous) and gave me hotel points that are useless. The points wouldn't pay for even 20% of a single night's stay so I have to give Marriott even more money to reward them for poor service. What an attractive offer. "We know we provided you poor, so we're inviting you to give us more money." To add insult to injury, they misspelled my name in the email they sent. When I sent an email following up, they simply ignored me. It's the second problem I've had with Marriott (out of two stays) after becoming a Bonvoy member. I'm cancelling my several upcoming stays at Marriott properties and becoming a Hilton Honors member.

Comfortable stay. Close to airport. Tracey and Stefan were great.
Picked it to stay near the airport after a week of hiking around NE Oregon. Wasn't disappointed. Had a good stay, clean room and really enjoyed chatting with Tracey and Stefan. Me and my sis in law had a lot of laughs with them whenever we were up there. Thanks for a comfortable nice stay!

NEVER AGAIN not recommended.
The check-in agent was very unfriendly. At first, she didn't want to accept my booked rate. No manager was available, so I was told to sort it out the next morning. However, as my departure was before 6 a.m., I was given a key after all. The rooms are terrible. Bad smell, trucks driving right through the room all night long. The windows are old and drafty. Only the entrance area has been renovated. I would NOT recommend this hotel. There are better alternatives just across the street. Never experienced anything like this at a Marriott Chain hotel before.

Do Not Stay Here Overnight
Marriott should review their oversight of this faciity using their name because it does not meet Marriott standards. Very old and not clean. House cleaning is a joke, Carpets have not been cleaned in years. My room hadv not been vacuumed recently. Front desk staff were helpful and breakfast were adequate but room was substandard...maybe a 2 star; definitely not Marriott standards,
