Don't stay, period.

Bed bugs, need I say more? Stayed here as a last minute option as nothing else was available and it was too late to drive to the next town. Lay down and very soon saw bed bugs crawling out. Stayed up the whole night with lights on and crushing bed bugs with tv remote, stll a few got to me as I dropped off a few times. The manager didn't make any apologies or offer any compensation when I told him. Manager surly and the lobby stinks. Grossed out completely - made us vow never to make these last minute hotel bookings while traveling.

Door opened without a key

Horrible place. Only stayed here one night due to it being the only place available. Paid way too much at $185 should have been $50. Signs all over saying quiet time but definitely not enforced, windows are so poor that they don’t stop any of the road noise. We ended up in a room next to a smoking table under the stairs and were kept up til 1:30 am with people drinking and talking loudly. No AC. Pool is filled in. No breakfast. Bed was ok, not the worst I’ve slept on. Parking lot is too small, not nearly enough room, we had to park out behind the building in a dirt lot with no lighting. Would rather sleep in the car and at least have a door that won’t open without a key. We unfortunately didn’t figure this out until we were loading our stuff up in the car. Told the manager at checkout and he didn’t seem to care or even want to see it happen(I can only assume he already knew as it was the last room he had available and he didn’t ask any questions when i told him about it) Would not go back even for free.

Family visit

Our family stayed here for 2 days. We were skeptical based on reviews & the exterior of the building. Host was very nice & showed us our perspective room prior to check in. Rooms are very dated but also very clean. The only downside for us was that there wasn't sure conditioning or a pool. Manager was very understanding. We traveled with 2 teenagers, a boy & a girl, so we needed 3 beds. Our room had 3 queen size beds of varying firmness. Which worked our perfectly for us. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to the Reedsport area. There is so much to do within a 2 hour drive.

Charged twice! So much for a good price!

The motel was noisy as it was right on the highway but the price was "right" and it was the July 4th weekend. However, when I registered, I paid with my credit card. Once I got my statement it showed where they billed me again for July 5th but we only stayed one night. They even charged me more for the night we didn't stay there! I called immediately when I got my statement and spoke with a gentleman on the phone and could hear the owner in the back ground say "Yes, we did over charge her but I have credited her account and this is the confirmation number...blah blah blah. Needless to say, the credit never came through on my credit card (to the tune of $198.00+). Be sure to check your statement and make sure you don't get overcharged like I did!
