A+ property
Property is incredibly well kept. Location is prime for easy access to the MAX rail. Rooms are clean and the food is delicious. But the service... Tracy Tina and Tommy have made all my dining experiences wonderful during my trip to Portland. Great energy, suggestions for activities. They deserve to be recognized for their exceptional service!

Good stay overall - toilet problems
I stayed at this hotel during a recent education-focused conference. I felt a little sorry for anyone staying there unrelated to the conference because it was absolutely FULL of loud teenagers. My room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was my toilet - it would hardly flush. When I called the desk they didn't seem surprised. Another person in my group had the same issue, so I think it might be a common problem in the hotel. Nothing was clogging it, it just had no flushing power. I had to have someone come to my room twice to fix it, which was kind of a pain. Overall, I liked the area - it was clean and felt safe. It was an easy walk to the Convention Center and the light rail stop was right on the corner. I would stay again!

Bittersweet.
I’m sick of being misled and surprised with fees. When I stay at a hotel I expect “fees and taxes”, but hotels are becoming predatory. I expect to pay for parking, but $31 dollars a night when that wasn’t mentioned at booking is frustrating. They said it was a $50 deposit, but when I got there it turned out to be $50 dollars per night and they take most of it thru the parking fee. So they promise a return knowing full well they keep it thru parking. Plus what am I paying for if there’s no security at the parking garage? Total rip off. The stay itself was pleasant, I was expecting my $100 deposit back. And I’m only getting $38 dollars. $62 dollars and the garage isn’t secure and smells like bodily fluids. ! I like the hotel, but the fees are misleading. They have to be honest and reasonable at some point. From now on I’m asking all the questions before booking and won’t be going back for this dishonesty.

Shady Staff
Demanded I pay for the from upfront even when I showed them the receipt from paying in advance through Capital One. On top it all the fire alarm went off in the early morning hours. Was told we would be refunded a for one night. Then told that since we booked not directly through them all we got was certificate for a night at this location when we are out of state travelers. This is all when I tried to give this place a second chance after literally trying to give my room away a year before which was also prepaid for directly though them. Don’t stay here, there are plenty of other area hotels with decent rail access and close enough rates
