it's a horrible experience for me , net is not working properly , shuttle service is not proper .breakfast is also not good. but the only thing is stuffs are good and helping .overall experience is bad .
Great Service and Hospitality
First and foremost, I need to shout out Kolby for his wonderful service and hospitality each and every morning we saw him at breakfast. He gave us great recommendations for places to go in Portland and he always asked us about our stay and made sure everything was going well. It made our experience here much more enjoyable and really hope to see him again if we are back in Tigard. Thank you, Kolby!
Hilton rarely disappoints
Instead of staying in the very congested Portland proper, we decided to stay in Tigard. Tigard is a close suburb to the Portland area and about a 40 minute drive to the airport. As a Hilton Honors member this location didn't disappoint. It appeared to be newly remodeled and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would have given the location 5 stars but there were a couple of issues. There were not instructions on where to set the air conditioning temps. There was a thermostat on the wall and there was control on the unit. We played with both but couldn't get the fan to come on. Consequently we roasted the first night. The second night, we found the fan control on the wall worked. Then we could turn the temp down on the unit. The second night was comfortable. My biggest complaint was the smell. The room smelled like dirty feet or sour towels. This may have been due to the lack of air conditioning. I didn't complain because I couldn't bring myself to change rooms. We had already changed hotel rooms twice (at another location) during this trip. Finally, one last minor complaint. Only 2 towels. Two people for two nights were in this room. But we use our towels for two days at home, why not in a hotel. Having said all this, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The mad up for a bad airline experience in which we had our bags lost. We had nothing and we had a family wedding to go to. They gave us directions and places in the area in which we could get the things we needed.
We stayed here because my daughter has two puppies and the were pet friendly. The staff was all so nice and our room was perfect for our stay. We felt like we had lots of room to spread out. It was a pleasant stay
