Front desk staff experience = We won't be back ever again!
Horrible front desk! Sketchy Parking lot... Seem to lack security... Rooms are smaller but updated beautifully... but due to the front desk experience, we won't be back. Incredible rude, didn't seem like they had any desire to be there. Quite unfortunate because the rooms are beautifully done. I had stayed at this hotel 6 or 7 different times prior to this experience.... but their complete avoidance of the issue (Charged my account 3 times for 1 room for 1 night... booked direct thru their site and I'm a Marriott member.... Sad. Very Sad.
Beware Hidden Charges After Checkout!
Watch Out! Hidden charge for parking (in their parking lot, with no valet, poor lighting, and no security) appeared up on my credit card after departing. The charge was never mentioned when making a reservation or when checking in. Room was comfy and spacious. The hotel is right by the highway and you can hear highway traffic all night so you need to run or bring a fan. Also show at the buffet at least 1 hour before it is over. We showed up at the buffet 30 minutes before it is over (8:30 AM) and they were out of fruit, orange juice, cups, and other items. A guest and I asked the hostess but nothing was ever re-stocked and the hostess appeared overloaded.
Worst customer service
Stay somewhere else. Booked an 1 bedroom with sofa in advance. Mobile checked 2 days before arrival. Reservation for 2 adults 2 kids. Got the room with a meeting table in the main area!!! Complained at reception and been lied to face all 1 bedrooms are the same. Receptionist name was Tina, just mentioned her name since she lied to me. I showed her pictures with the room I booked, she changed her story. No manager available, she offered to call the kitchen supervisor!! Been told there are no other rooms available… even if I made a reservation. They offer to send me to a different hotel. Absolutely crazy customer service, stay somewhere else.
Greed and gouging means this old customer isn't coming back. Teach them a lesson and stay elsewhere
Old remodeled hotel that has significantly jacked up rates and added a $10 parking charge. As a Marriott Elite who has stayed here many times this gouging means never again. They lost a customer because if this. Noisy HVAC in room. Fridge solo. Parking charge is a deal breaker. There is competition. With devaluation of Bonvoy I will just look for a Priceline deal elsewhere.
Time to upgrade
Nice hotel, good location. Room has fridge but no microwave so could not heat up leftovers. Coffee pot is absolutely gross. It's 2023, please update this to anything, it would be better than what you have. Holiday Inn at least has updated to K cup. There's a place downstairs to order breakfast & coffee during certain hours. Shower is poorly designed. Have to get in and turn on, which means you get splashed with cold water while waiting on the warm. Would stay here again for a quick visit, but no more than a day.
