Nice hotel and convenient to PDX. Great general manager
A new hotel near PDX. Very clean room and modern deco. Location is convenient to PDX (among a number of other airport hotels brands). In room features are mostly automatic - lighting turns off automatically if empty. The general manager is a highlight of our stay. Very friendly and kind. Price point is rather high

Our new favorite airport hotel.
What a great find! We're always looking for lodging at the airport that includes free parking. This was booked through Park and Fly. The hotel is fairly new and the decor is somewhat stark, but the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly. We had an early flight so missed the breakfast buffet but it looked like they had waffles and several other hot items plus the usual cereal, toast and pastries.

Great Airport Location with Friendly Staff
We had a very early flight and stayed here the night before. Friendly front desk greets you as soon as you walk in and made us feel welcome. Our room was large and super clean. Bed was comfortable. We overlooked the lake and there are plenty of places to eat within an easy distance. Even though it’s right by the airport we didn’t hear the planes at anytime inside.

Nice Stay fix the bathroom fan
It was a nice newly renovated room with a river view. Front desk ladies were super helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast. Only complaint was that the bathroom light was connected to the fan and it was the loudest fan I've ever heard. It also automatically turned on every time you walked in. Truly horrible if you like a quiet room.

Horrible Treatment and discrimination by late night staff member
My experience on January 5th in Portland, OR at the Townplace Suites Portland Airport, convinced me that I must move forward based on the continual mistreatment. After my flight arriving late into Portland, I was extremely tired. I had made a reservation the day before from the 5th-7th. However, when I arrived to the hotel I was discriminated against, verbally abused and mistreated byt the front desk clerk by the name of Adam. I was again made to feel embarrassed by being accused of lying and not making a reservationm even after showing Adam a picture of my reservation clearly stating January 5th through the 7th. Adam told me that his system didn't show my reservation, so I proceeded to make another one through the ap on my phone as Adam stood and watched. He continued to tell me that there still showed no reservation in the system. He then told me he saw a reservation, but it was for the 6th of January, therefore,, he couldn't check me in until 3PM in the afternoon. It was 12:30AM when he told me this! I proceeded to ask him to call someone because I had no where to go, that I wasn't from Portland. Adam then told me, very harshly, that he wasn't calling anybody, that I needed to call somebody and find someplace else to stay. At this point other people began to come in behind me. He then asked me to step aside while he helped the next customer. I did so, and he ended up with the same exact problem. However, he proceeded to continue to work on the Caucasian family's reservation for more that 30 minutes until he figured it out. At this point he could no longer ask me to find someplace else to stay, and decided to give me a room. Once he finished checking me in, he proceeded (in front of at least 3 other families) to say, "Next time, make your reservation before midnight the day of!" I was completely embarrassed and reminded him that I showed him my reservation that was made long before I arrived at the hotel. I felt very embarrassed. He defamed my character and as the people began to come in, we had already settled that I had a room beginning on the 5th when I showed him my original reservation. I don’t know what happened to the system meanwhile my Uber driver was nice enough to call cause call across the street to another property and they said all the person had to do was back date to fix the reservation that you don’t tell a titanium member that they have to leave, that they can't check you in until 3 PM. I am appalled at these two experiences with the Marriott, that’s why I decided it necessary to reach out to you with this email. I look forward to speaking to you to have this resolved as a titanium member. I am embarrassed. I am appalled regarding the mistreatment in both instances, that also included defamation of character and discrimination. I was reduced to tears in front of many people and quite frankly I’m angry. I am happy to say that the next day I explained the situation to 2 other ladies at the front desk and they brought flowers to my room, a kind gesture nevertheless. However, something still needs to be done. Adam needs to be fired. I anxiously look forward to your response. Thank you.
