Very scary place to stay. The homeless and section 8 have been moved in to the hotel for free. People with schizophrenia off their meds, couples fighting in the hallway at 3:00 a.m. . When I asked the front desk to have a conversation with the people they would not. They said they had to reach out to their caseworkers. There is also a huge porn shop nearly adjacent to the hotel.
This is the worst n craziest hotel in Portland
Me and my husband got placed in this hotel after hitting hard time we had to ask for help and a social services placed us in this hotel . So we where greatful till we meet Scott who is the hotel asst manager . The hotel was great a little older and most the workers where great but the hotel had allot of people under the influence. People taking and selling narcotics everywhere. And it was obvious and I found out why this hotel was like this. one day I had a few things missing from my room so I go down to the front desk and Scott was working I tried to talk to him about my things but he kept nodding off he was clearly under the influence and it was terrible like some thing u see online so I took a video of it. He would be talking then next thing u know his standing there nodding off right in the middle of a conversation . I kept having to get his attention and when I brought up stuff missing in my room he exploded and yelled at me and threatened to kick me out. I went back up to my room and got a call from scott I was being evicted .I was shocked I talk to other guest and found out this is normal Scott stays at the hotel and has a friend who stays here to. his friend just got caught stealing food from in front of a door of a single mother and the guy is still living there I get kicked out for a question . I'm guessing Scott makes his friend keys to people rooms they go in there rooms and steal things when the people go out .Im safe now in a way better place but some one needs to intervene cause this is a good hotel with one bad apple and it's spoiling the bunch.
Would stay again
We stayed 8 days and Housekeeping is great. Very helpful. We only got our room cleaned a couple times but they were awesome in between. Rooms are clean and manager is great. Would stay again for sure.
Pancake Maker alone is worth the stay!
Super helpful and friendly staff! We initially stayed across the overpass at Comfort Inn and Suites, which was a Horrible experience!! Came here and thankful we did! The breakfast has a few choices that are all great, especially the neat little pancake maker, push a button and 2 perfect pancakes come out!! Rooms are decent, clean! Nice comfy place
Go elsewhere. Horrible customer service by management
I checked in and left for work. When I came back the power was out which was no fault to the hotel. The power came on at about 2 am. I went to turn on the heater and discovered the unit was broken. I talked with a manager "Jessie " while I was checking out. Tried to explain him and the problem and also tried to get him to even go look and see what the problem was. The power button had been ripped out of the heater. He said he would go look later and leaned back up against the wall. Didn't ask what room so I could tell he really could care less. He said I should have said something at 2am. The hotel was sold out and there was no other rooms as I had already asked about a different room after I laid on the bed and discovered how uncomfortable it was. I wouldn't stay at this place again if it was free. Uncomfortable, horrible customer service from management.
