Dog friendly and clean, if a bit spartan
The room was pretty clean, the staff was super-friendly, dogs were allowed, and the price was extremely reasonable. I really wanted to give this motel a 4 star rating, because I was really impressed with the staff, price and location. BUT the room was cold, on a January day. The thermostat, when set at the highest setting reduced the chill a bit, but not by much. What saved the day was the portable heater that was in the closet. Without it, well.....this review would be much less positive. The fact that there was a spare heater available tells me that the staff is aware of the issue. It's an older property, so without re-doing the heating system, that won't likely change. Also, the wi-fi didn't work. FYI, there's no a/c, but there was a fan in the closet. There's a bit of noise from Hwy 101, but it wasn't too bad, just noticeable. So, it's a respectable option, but you might want another choice during the heat of summer or the cold of winter.

GREAT EXPERIENCE
We stayed at the Inn for the 2nd time on 10/30/21. First of all, we received 15% off just for staying there again. Our room was clean and the beds so comfortable. The Manager, Doug Thompson was so professional and so friendly that it just made our time there even better. The place isn't fancy but who needs that when you have a clean room and a good nights sleep. We will always stay here when we come to Lincoln City! We would give it 10 stars if we could! THANK YOU Barb Harrison

Older motel but okay
We stayed here for just one night. This is an older motel and a bit dark. Our room was in the back and was very quiet. Our room had a kitchenette but if we had been planning to cook we would have been disappointed because it wasn't stocked very well. But we weren't cooking so it wasn't a problem. There were some nice touches in the room -- toiletries in a little bag, etc. But the bedding and carpet was old and it didn't feel super clean, though maybe just a bit dingy. The manager was friendly. Lincoln City was not our favorite place along the coast, but this was available when we were looking for a Saturday night hotel just a week before.

Amazing experience!!! Love this place!!!
To start the room was fantastic. Very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and firm but soft. They have pillow tops on. The bedding was very soft and nice. There were extra pillows and blankets in the room along with a fan. The day my daughter planned her beach wedding it started to pour rain. Doug the amazing manager allowed us to use their beautiful courtyard for her wedding last minute. It turned out so amazing he saved the day. Thank you Doug!!!

Never again
We booked a king room with kitchen. On the day of our arrival, it was cool enough to heat the room. When we went to turn the heat on, the thermostat & radiator did not work. We let the manager know and he stated there hadn't been any complaints about the heat not working and that there was a space heater available in the room. We ended up using this for the remainder of our stay. He did offer to have someone look at it the following day, but the space heater was sufficient enough for the stay and we declined. The kitchen on the other hand was essentially unusable (pictures follow). We booked the room with the intention of preparing meals. Firstly, there were no eating utensils save for a single fork. There was food in the cabinet presumably from prior guests including an open bottle of alfredo sauce. Also, a dirty, wet sponge was left on the sink. We let the manager know about the utensil situation and he said he would go to the Dollar Store that day to pick some up. We never received utensils. The single time we used the stove top to boil water in the kettle, the large burner kept cutting off and when we tried to use the smaller burners, they were so dirty/oily that they started smoking to the point of needing to turn on the vent and open a window. Lastly, it would have been nice to have 2-3 basic pots/pans rather than a sheet pan, 2 muffin tins and 2 pie plates. We also realize that with Covid, daily housekeeping was suspended which is completely reasonable. However, when the half-roll of toilet paper in the room on our arrival was getting low, there wasn't any replacement. We asked 2 housekeepers and they said they would put some in the room while we were out for the day. Seven hours later we returned to no TP. Ended up asking the manager and he immediately provided some. In summary, we booked this room specifically because we wanted a usable kitchen. We paid extra for what turned out to be a basic hotel room.
