The Cannery Pier Hotel is addictive - come once, and you'll keep returning
My husband and I come every year because there is no better place to relax. Where else can you have a cocktail or an omelette in such a spectacular lobby, or just relax in your room, and watch ships go by on the Columbia River while you are actually 600 feet into the Columbia River? Astoria is a wonderful town and the Maritime Museum is top notch. The more you learn about the river and the area, the more you want to come back.
