While expensive this was a great place to stay. The views of the Columbia River and the ships going by was always interesting. The room was well appointed and generally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent as was the bar for drinks in the evening. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard.

View hotel uniquely attractive and comfortable.
Receptionist Jennifer welcoming, prompt and informative. Hotel room attractive, practical and comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the AMC Pacer courtesy car at entrance. ( Hotel staff should know the manufacturer of the car.)

Exceptional view!
Wonderful view from room. Good service and food. The balcony is nice but very small. The food is good but limited menu. Some of the tourist sites are within walking distance. It was nice to sit and watch the traffic on the bridge and river.

Everything you could hope for and more while visiting Astoria, Oregon.
Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed. The lounge area had a great atmosphere and the views were stunning. If you are visiting the Astoria, Oregon area you owe it to yourself to experience the Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa!

Very nice location
Stunning sunsets, very nice accommodations lots of restaurants and activities. Great salmon fishing on the Hood River. Lots of wild life. Seals, cranes, and pelicans. Seafood is a must local dinning experience.
