Big room, but no couch or chair to watch tv (unless you use the desk chair). Nice river view if you look past the noisy freeway. Very uncomfortable bed. No USB ports. Big desk if you need an office!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home here. Madi greeted us, checked us in, and we walked in to one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever experienced. Additionally, the common areas were sparkling clean. The room was large with high ceilings. Lots of storage, with a huge desk area. Kitchenette had everything we needed, and again, sparkling clean. Candlewood Suites is the place to stay. Thanks for a great experience!

Excellent accommodations for handicap customers!
We were in town for a surgery. The hotel was able to provide a handicap accessible room last minute, allowing us to vacate our previous hotel who had not honored my request. Candlewood was gracious and very accommodating. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very easy to navigate in a wheelchair. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the sheets soft and subtly fragrant. This hotel has earned my loyalty, and should we need to return, we will definitely stay here.

Stayed for one night for the Pre-Classic track meet. Chose this hotel because it is close to a running path and close to Hayward Field. Appreciated that prices weren’t completely unreasonable like all the hotels closer to Hayward. We requested a top floor river view. We were 3rd floor (out of 6 or so) and unfortunately the river view was almost completely blocked by a tree. Had we known our view would be of a tree I would have requested a room on the other side as it would have been much quieter. You will hear street noise on the river side. Furnishings were basic. The beds were comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean. The bathroom had no fan, and it needed one. Coffee (made by the cup) was available all the time which is a great perk. Overall, this place is fine when you are limited by choices due to an event at U of O.

The rooms were big however the bed smelled like urine and there is no maid service. Getting our own towels and used towels and trash piled up for four days. Had to pay more because of the University graduation. No complimentary breakfast. Very disappointed.
