With 14 inches of fresh snow, Best Western seemed to have nailed the aesthetic. A warm fire in the lobby, a delicious and vast breakfast, and covered parking! If you ski, work, or simply stop off in your travels, this hotel shouldn’t disappoint.
Perfect location at government camp. Has limit garage parking and storage lockers for your gear. Across the hwy from Skibowl, we walked to Mt Hood Brewery from the hotel. Hot tub was amazing after a full day and night of snowboarding. Full breakfast was great! Tons of options! Only a 10 min drive to Timberline. Will definitely be staying again!
Excellent experience, way better experience than ive encountered at other BW+. Within stumbling distance of Timberline Brewing pub & grill, home of my favorite brew. Professional, knowledgeable, professional staff.
We experience bedbugs in our room, the staff, instead of coming up and saying they will investigate it, was unpleasant and actually hung up on me when I reported it. When we went to the front desk to discuss it with them it was difficult to get them to go verify that they were bedbugs there, but they eventually they did. They were difficult and unpleasant saying we have to prove it. I have pictures of the bedbugs. After verifying it they continued to be very unpleasant. They did not do anything to rectify the situation other change our room at our insistence , to a room which had less amenities. My disappointment at this place is extraordinary . I would advise everyone to stay away from here. This is not the place to go. They are better hotels in the area.
This was a very disappointing experience. I found bugs on one of the beds in the room the morning after we had checked in. Pointed this out to the staff. They checked the room with a UV black light and told me that they were forest beetles, not bedbugs. They were not particularly accommodating or pleasant. I’m not sure whether these were forest Beetles, or bedbugs they did change my room. I was very upset. I would say even . Traumatized. it was the beginning of my vacation and I was not sure whether I was going to be taking these bugs with me. They did not offer an apology or to compensate me in anyway. In fact, they even told me that it was possible that I brought this with me. Fortunately, I was able to do laundry and wash any clothes I wore while in that room. Another couple I was traveling with had problems with the shower in their room. I would not suggest staying in this establishment. i’ve stayed in Best Western’s before and I’ve had good experiences. This certainly was an unpleasant experience.
