The room smelled like mold. Had to leave because smell was making me sick. Had to leave same day. Would not recommend staying there. Worse hotel/motel I have stayed in. We have stayed in a lot of motels. Not worth price charged.
I wouldn’t recommend this place I paid a lot of money for the romantic hot tub and when arriving that night the tv didn’t work the fire place would only work if you would mess with it multiple times we called the front desk that night and were told that new lines for the tv were installed and that they would send maintenance out to restart it but still nothing worked we were also told that they couldn’t move us rooms as they were all booked on the one we had rented. Called the next day same issues and still got there’s nothing we can do for you who spends over 250 a night and not have the things work that are suppose too? Called the booking agent I went through the next day as this was not what I had paid for and the hotel lied and said we never made any complaints about the room while we were there dishonest people are discussing I would never stay at this place again..
I booked this hotel because of the hot tub outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean and it did not disappoint!! The experience was soo relaxing and lovely. The balcony is quite private and the beach not very busy at all- the ocean was so close, it was amazing! The room was very large, the fireplace so cozy plus it was not on a timer! And the bed was delightfully comfortable- front desk staff very friendly.
Booking.com and the motel counter person along with manager were unable to resolve a mistake in dates. No refund or even partial refund even though we stayed at the hotel as arranged. Motel manager stated not their fault after booking.com tried to get a refund. We stayed in a view room. Not ocean front as listed. The room was small but nice except for a healthy population of small ants that were there to assist with morning coffee. Overall disappointing but tolerable. No handicap parking at the annex hotel where we stayed. No offer for main floor for handicap. The hotel counter who greeted us the night we came in said in reference to the mistake in booking dates “some peoples kids”. Making lite of the extra room charge did not set well. The morning manager stated they were not paid by booking.com. We were charged. Even a partial refund would have made a huge difference.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The view can’t be beat. We had an ocean view suite with patio and hot tub. We spent an hour just taking in the sunset from the hot tub. Sooo nice. The room was just okay though. You could tell it’s been heavily used with chipped paint in a lot of places. The bathroom was basic with shower tub combo and kind of dark. Overall would probably prefer to pay more for a more updated room with the same view and Hot tub.
