Bed Soft and Hot, Dusty underneath.
Nice enough place if you like a supper soft, very warm bed. I have a bad back and this bed was way too soft. Also the bed had me way to hot just laying on it, which is hard to do since normally I sleep very cold. I can’t imagine what it would be like for someone who sleeps hot. Thought I would go soak in hot tub, but it was disgusting, brown dirty water. Also, they need to clean under the bed. There was enough dust to make several bunnies.

Value for your money
Good value that can accommodate families in a single room and provide privacy. Hichim was incredible front desk attendant. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. The reason this hotel wasn’t rated higher is that the pool wasn’t heated. That was one of the draws to us staying at the hotel.

You get what you pay for.
Staff was friendly when around. I called ahead and confirmed that the pool was open, we get there and their pool heater was broken so… Ice cold pool on an already cold rainy day, and then the hot tub was closed as well and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Our room windowsill was disgusting as well. Next time I will pay a little more to stay somewhere with functioning amenities and clean rooms.

Some positives, many fixable negatives
Before I get to the critical comments, I will start with the good experience we had with all the staff. In particular Trish was kind, patient and helpful. We had good walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Also my kids LOVED making their own waffles and enjoyed that part of the breakfast, however the apple juice machine was broken and no orange juice was offered so the only beverage for kids were lemonade, cranberry cocktail, or water. For the negative comments, we chose this hotel over other kid friendly places for the “heated indoor pool” but learned upon check-in that the heater was broken with no estimated time of repair so the pool was not an option. You can imagine our frustration for our Spring Break holiday. No compensation was offered. We went to the heated community pool instead and it was fairly inexpensive. Unless you have a service animal, the cost of one dog is $65 per night. This is the highest price per pet I have ever heard of. Unbelievably frustrating were the key cards, which only worked one or two times. In our two-night stay, I had to request a new card 6 times, and if there's a long line at the reception desk, patience is required. Many times no one was available right away at the desk but could be reached by phone.

Needs repairs
We were in a hurry so I just grabbed the keys 4:30pm and left, we didn't check the room , big mistake. We returned at 11pm and went to the room and as soon as we opened the door we saw that the floor was peeling up everywhere and wavy where is wasn't peeling. My wife was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed, I wanted to get our money back and drive home. She won out. We got ready for bed and when she pulled back the covers you could see that the sheets were really stained, clean but old and stained, so we slept on top of the blankets. I should add that I tried to go talk to the desk clerk after I saw the floor to ask about changing rooms but nobody was at the front desk. Next time I will check the room for sure IF we ever go back which is very unlikely.
