This hotel was so chill and relaxing. The room was quiet, comfortable, and homey. The bathtub was big and the water nice and hot. The bed was soft and pillows were abundant. There is a cute little porch outside a sliding glass door. The staff was super kind, and Luna cafe was excellent. I would go out of my way to return.

Here’s a draft for your 1-star review of Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites, based on your experience: ⸻ ★☆☆☆☆ I reserved a King Suite with a view, but instead was given a first-floor room facing the parking lot. The so-called kitchenette is useless—no utensils, no basics, nothing provided. The overall quality is far below what the photos suggest. They only “clean” your room and make the bed every three days, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price. The place smells old, and it’s really just a run-down motel disguised as something better. To top it off, the staff is rude and unhelpful. Definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beware staying here in the heat of summer. Maybe it’s just the third floor, but the air conditioning can’t cool the rooms to a comfortable temperature for sleeping. The halls and elevator don’t seem to get any cooling at all. I’m shocked this is rated so high. The furniture is all banged up and the rooms don’t look nearly as nice as in the photos. Even if the A/C worked this place is 2.5 star at best. The mattress is stiff and the sheets are rough. The only nice things I have to say are the pool is open late and stuff seems nice. The pool towels are abrasive and about half the size of a typical bath towel.

Clean cool suite room with refrigerator and cooktop. Handicapped accessible shower, but furniture crowded the living room so that just walking required agility. But the bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bath area spacious. The food in th dining room was tasty and interesting. The staff were helpful. I would stay here again.

Spacious hotel
We stayed here two nights. We had a room with a patio. The staff were great. The restaurant is good. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise the generator or air conditioner outside of our room at night. We had to close the sliding door. Nice grounds and pool.
