Locked out, front desk agent on drugs - do not stay here
I stayed at aloft by Marriott July of 2026. I am a loyal Marriott customer and put my faith in all properties for high level customer service. I arrived after hours around 11pm. The hotel doors were locked and there was a sign saying to call the front desk for assistance. The phone number listed for the hotel was incorrect on the sign (missing a digit) and no one answered the hotel lobby phone while calling the number online. Finally, a long time later, someone came out of the back door and let me know. He was clearly outside doing drugs, smelled like marijuana and was completely out of it during check in. Forgot what I said, asked for my name multiple times etc. Needless to say, I felt incredibly unsafe as a mid 20 year old solo female checking in after hours. I would not recommend staying here, bummer because I love Marriott.

Bed bugs
Stayed at Aloft @ Cascade Station on April 19th, 2026. Not my first stay, and previously no major concerns. This time however, was a different story. Watching tv and about to turn lights and tv off when I noticed a bug on the pillow next to me. Ripped back bedding to discover larvae and another bed bug. I captured one in a napkin and placed in the sink and took photos. Then notified front desk and was given another room. Obviously I did not sleep well even in the other room. Next day while awaiting my flight, I messaged management and was told they would get back to me immediately. I did not hear a word until I returned 5 days later to get my car I parked there for my trip. Assistant manager Doreen was amazing and apologetic for the bed bugs and the lack of communication. Doreen was the sole bright spot in regard to my stay. I was refunded promptly, and wish to thank Doreen for her attention to the matter.

Feels tired and cheaply built. Outside glam does not reflect inside.
Very tired hotel that really feels cheap. Lobby area is nice but bed is worn, missing floor baseboards in common area on floor and just an old overall cheap feel. If breakfast is included it’s a $10 voucher for a reheated frozen item. Out of cleaning wipes in gym and “oh, we don’t know where those are to replace them”. I changed from Residence Inn to try something new and will definitely go back to the Residence Inn to stay with Marriott. Very disappointing.

Missing some basics.
I’ve stayed here twice now so I know it’s not just the room I was in, but the entire hotel. It’s in a decent location and the accommodations are adequate. There are three things that are not great. First, parking. I absolutely hate it when a hotel charges an extra fee for parking. I’m paying $165/night to stay here and there is nothing special about the parking lot. No security, no gates, nothing. There is no reason for it other than fleecing the guests. Next, the TV system. A lot of the Marriott chains have dumped premium channels. That’s fine because most everyone has streaming and they make it convenient to connect to the major streaming network, however their WiFi is rather slow and can’t handle it (and apparently I get the “enhanced” WiFi because of my status with Marriott). And, their system severely mutes the TV volume. I have it turned all the way up and when the AC kicks on, you can’t hear the TV very well. The last thing that really annoys me is that there is NOT a soap dish in the shower. I know some people just use the hotel stuff provided, but there are a lot of us who don’t like their stuff and prefer our own stuff. The showers here have no shelves, nowhere to put any bottles or soap. Nothing. I end up putting my soap on the floor just outside the door. Not ideal. Cutting out something so simple is another black mark against this hotel. Put a shelf or soap dish in the shower. Improve the WiFi and TV volume. Stop tacking on extra hidden fees like parking. Do better

Nice Hotel in Greatl Location! Amazing Customer Service!
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what truly makes it stand out is the incredible customer service. The staff here is fantastic, especially Tamsyn at the front desk. She is an absolute rock star—friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel welcome. During my stay, Tamsyn went above and beyond. One morning, I was in a rush and had ordered breakfast without realizing there would be a wait. When I mentioned it wasn’t a problem to give my order to someone else, she personally went to the back and made sure it was ready so I could take it with me. That level of care and attention is rare, and it didn’t go unnoticed. I also observed how she treated every guest with the same kindness and professionalism. This is the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, and Tamsyn truly deserves recognition. Aloft and Marriott are lucky to have her!
