Centrally located hotel near the waterfront in Portland. We were able to walk to the Pearl District for dinners. The room was clean and comfortable. The sink was outside the bathroom, so that made for easier mornings. We had no issues with noise. Service with the valet service was quick and efficient. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet and small coffee shop for an additional price. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel could not have been better positioned for exploring Portland. Located right in the heart of downtown, we were steps away from some of the city's best restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and attractions. No matter which direction we headed, we found excellent food and plenty to see and do. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable. After long days of walking and exploring the city, it was a pleasure to return to a clean, quiet, and inviting space. The bed was comfortable, the room was thoughtfully appointed, and everything felt designed to help guests relax and recharge. One of the highlights of staying here was having Portland's incredible dining scene at our doorstep. Whether we were looking for a quick breakfast, an afternoon coffee, or a memorable dinner, outstanding options were just a short walk away. For anyone looking to experience Portland without spending their trip in rideshares or hunting for parking, this hotel is an excellent choice. Comfortable accommodations, a fantastic location, and access to some of the city's best food made for a wonderful stay. I would happily return on my next visit.

5 Star Experience
A four day experience that was amazing!!! I had reached out to the GM for assistance on room location and a special occasion celebration, however they were out of town. The GM that was covering temporarily was from out of state and a different hotel. After the experience we had you would have thought this was HIS property. Benjamin Cann went above and beyond in all aspects in assisting me. Numerous detailed emails and follow ups to ensure our experience was spectacular. Upgraded to top floor room with a fantastic view of Mt Hood and such great surprise with my wife’s favorite bottle of Oregon wine from the Willamette Valley on ice waiting for us when we arrived! He even went out on his own to find this particular bottle of wine. All I can say is wow!

We were in town for a basketball tournament. The management team was dealing with issues from certain teams being disruptive. Instead of trying to deal with the issue, the management team lumped the teams from the tournament into one group with teams coming from all over the country. During the evening of the incident, our team was having a team dinner outside of the hotel. Instead of dealing with our team with professionalism, the night management team address the parents of our team with passive aggressive behavior. We felt the night management team was being lazy. Even though the morning management team was professional, cordial, respectful, and responsive, the overall experience is not what we usually associate with the Marriot brand. We definitely will not be staying at this hotel again, especially when there are so many other options in downtown Portland.
