Kelly's is a Marina and Campground located on the Nehalem Bay a half hour north of Tillamook and a half hour south of Cannon Beach. They have crab boats available for rent, dock crabbing, fresh seafood, RV and tent sites and a camp store.

I always take the long way home from the coast (US 101) just so I can stop at Kelly's for some fresh cooked crab. Other places, you don't know how long that crab's been in the refrigerated case, and at Kelly's you get to see yours squirming and alive in the bucket before they toss it in a sack and throw it in the cooker. That's as fresh as it gets!

Fresh crabs!
Little more than a “crab shack”, this place is authentic, wholesome and not at all fancy. You pick your seafood by weight, get to see your live crab before it goes into the steamer, then you go inside to pay, back out to confirm payment and then your food is cooked and served in a metal tray. Don’t forget to buy extra butter and garlic when paying inside (there a microwave to melt butter). So fresh, delicious and unpretentious. Luckily we had great weather so happy to sit in the sun by the water to eat.

Fantastic afternoon
My family had such a blast crabbing. We had a beautiful day must have caught at least 40 crabs but only got 1 keeper. They cook it for you and it was so good! This is a must if your in the area with kids. Loved it.

A must do family activity
Well run family operation with nice and helpful staff. We had a blast crabbing and enjoyed our freshly cooked catch. 10 out of 10 recommendation from everyone in the family (parents and 9 and 12 YO girls). Add this to your trip itinerary!

We ordered 2 large fresh crabs, a total of just over 3 1/2 pounds before the guys cooked and cleaned them. We brought them home for dinner and there wasn’t even enough crab for the two of us to make a modest crab Louie. Almost all of the legs were empty. We have bought much less whole crab in the past and ended up with much more crabmeat. It made us wonder if we even got the crabs we chose and paid for, $60. Very disappointed!
