I was checking out this spot today so that we can plan an event. Even before we enter the place, I was get yelled at very rudely "Where do you think, you are going?" I was like, what?? "There is a wedding here". ok, reversed the car on the spot when I noticed the guy gave a sarcastic salute. If a wedding is there, please post a proper signage and NEVER EVER YELL YOUR CUSTOMERS. Never ever going to go back or recommend to anyone I know. Only after returning I checked reviews to understand, how rude they are to the customers. If you don't like your customers, please don't advertise. Very cheap people.
Needed ADA parking as STEEP rough road to venue by lake. Beautiful setting, but if different ability no accommodation allowed. Treated by owner with indifference. Not accessible at all so no independent way to attend venue areas. Fantastic wedding.
Only addressing as a Wedding Venue. POSITIVE attributes. Private..Rustic but bathroom are good..Settings are all beautiful in their own ways. Blank canvas. Nice plants hanging flowers NOT SO GREAT No cell phone service. .Totally everything except table, chairs, tablecloths must be hauled in and out. Running water isn't drinking quality . STEEP gravel drive/walk ways.. Brides room primitive..poor lighting Another thing to bring in hang take down lights. Walk way to bathroom is unlight and very dark. Not very safe for older people or those with poor vision. Owner is intense in his rules but other sites music was on after midnight so rules not universal. VERY BEST QUALITY there. Kelli the SIL who does wedding coordinator Now she gets a 6 star review!
We had a Celebration of Like there. It cost $8 per person per night to stay in a dry campground with Portapots. Additionally, there is a charge for everything -$5 for for 5” in the time controlled shower based on time from start and not time water is on. There are MANY rules and guests are encouraged ($50) for ratting out other guest for such infractions as “stealing” fish (because you pay by weight of fishing (before cleaning)). The staff are NOT friendly-I was yelled at within minutes of arriving; my cousin and his wife were scolded for phoning to get specifics on the weekend. The place is very pretty, but though they advertise (and charge) for camping, it is VERY clear that Weddings are their bread and butter and that they don’t care much about pleasing their other PAYING clients. I do not recommend the place and I will not be returning.
We attended our neighbors wedding here. We came from Utah. When we arrived we were met with amazing peacocks. The young lady at the front was very nice and directed us to the wedding venue. The wedding was down by the lake it was a very pretty setting. I was impressed at how much pride the owners had in the place. It was very clean. We had a awesome time while were were there.
