I enjoy staying at the Woodlark. The staff is friendly, great restaurants and coffee in the lobby. I have stayed multiple times but it was only on this visit that I felt the rooms may need some TLC. It was small details like scuffs on the walls and furniture, no chrome cast instructions in the room, our phone didn't work to call the front desk, and some of the fixtures/hooks were installed crooked or felt wobbly. Little details like that used to set this hotel apart from others in the area. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, but it may be time for some little updates.

Not a kid-friendly hotel. Room too small to set up pack n play and they do not have high chairs for tables in coffee shop. Also, nice perk to give $15 room credit to be used at restaurant, but cannot use it at the coffee shop.

My friend and I traveled to Portland from Sacramento for a few days, and staying at the Woodlark was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped through the front doors, we knew we had picked the right place. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, stylish, warm, and full of character without feeling overdone. It struck the perfect balance between modern luxury and a welcoming atmosphere. The front desk team made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We loved Martini Hour! Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help, which made checking in and getting recommendations around the city effortless. One person who really stood out was Hannah, the bartender at Bullard Tavern. We had a few cocktails while waiting for an early check in. The time flew by in there and our early check in was sooner than we initially expected. Hannah was incredibly kind, personable, and made us feel right at home. She made me a Corpse Reviver No. 2, and it was one of the best cocktails I had during our trip. It was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and memorable. The location was perfect for exploring Portland on foot, and after long days of wandering neighborhoods, bookstores, coffee shops, and restaurants, it was always nice coming back to such a comfortable and beautiful hotel. We loved Abigail Hall and Bullard Tavern! It was so convenient to have two great spots for food and drinks without ever leaving the hotel. Each has its own atmosphere, and both added to the overall experience. I now understand why the Woodlark Hotel has Michelin recognition after our recent stay. Again, thank you to everyone at the Woodlark for making our first visit to Portland so memorable. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again the next time we’re in the city.

I rented the penthouse suite for my daughter’s wedding. After the bridesmaids got ready in the morning, we asked for the room to be cleaned so when the couple came back after the wedding. It would be nice. They never came. The couple requested the room to be cleaned the next day. No one came. They were told it would be cleaned again and a bottle of wine would be brought no wine was brought. The air-conditioning was broke the first day. They were told they would be comped one night and they were not. Horrible service. It was my daughter’s wedding and she had all this frustration. Not good.
