Everything you could want.
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times. There is so much to love about this place. The grounds are gorgeous, with beautiful trees and flowers everywhere. Super comfortable beds, great linens and towels, well-stocked rooms that are scrupulously clean. We appreciated the large windows and balcony with a wonderful view. I also liked the room keys which are actual keys and not a card that you always have to fumble with to make it work. The staff are very professional. It's very close to town but feels secluded and private. And for all this, the price is reasonable.

Great view
We had a great stay, and really loved our completely renovated second-floor unit that had a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, and the main bedroom had a king size bed. We also had a full kitchen with a full-size fridge and a full-size stove which we used to make dinner and breakfast. The grounds are exquisitely beautiful. The rooms are spotlessly clean. This region has so much beauty to offer surrounding the gorge and Mount Hood. Highly recommend!

Sweet!
Even though the room was designated "partial river view," it had a great view of the river and also the grounds. The grounds of this lodge are exceptionally beautiful. It is clear that this lodge is deeply and well cared- for.

Lovely Views, Comfortable and Clean Accommodations, Great Staff
Stayed for memorial day weekend for a large family wedding. Hotel was a great site for many kids to play in the courtyard and visit across the rooms. Suites provide really nice kitchens and private bedrooms. Large bathrooms. Our room did have a dog smell, pets were allowed in this room. However, it was very clean and housekeeping was attentive to extra needs that we had. Overall, I would stay again and it was GREAT value for the price.

Motel like unit with an upscale price
The room is outdated except for the ceiling which was renovated. The bathroom has a 70 look. I got deceived by the pictures posted which are for the renovated units. The lobby is very tiny and there is no breakfast served . Amenities is very basic which is typical of a motel but came with a $200 per night. The AC is a window unit and loud. The bed is comfy and the crew did a good job cleaning. The room has a partial river view which is quite nice. Customer service is good as I got a call prior to my stay so I have high expectation. There is a big outdoor area with lawn and picnic table so good for guests with pets. There are tons of choices for this price tag. No wonder this place has vacancy while most places in town have none.
