April 21, 2026Aaron DAlmost ruined my wedding night
Made reservation for my wedding night along with a dinner reservation at the restaurant on the first floor. When I made the reservation I specifically added late checkout (along with the payment for the late checkout) as our plans the next day centered around being able to stay later at the hotel. When checking in we were told there was no late checkout available EVEN THOUGH I had specifically requested and paid for it. That was frustrating enough but we decided to go with it. We got our bags checked in and we went downstairs for our dinner only to find the restaurant would not accept us because "their wifi was down". REALLY???? I said they could write our orders down on paper and charge the room or I would even pay cash. But their only answer was "we can't accept anyone for dinner because our wifi is down". What an absolute joke this place is. Apparently the ability to provide customer service is based solely on the wifi working. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was simply told they had no control over the restaurant. When I pressed for why our late checkout was cancelled they told me a large group was coming in and nobody was getting late checkout. So even though I was offered late checkout a few days earlier, they cancelled me. the only good thing they seemed capable of doing is letting us check out without any charges and we headed over to The Benson where we got great customer service and had a nice dinner.

We had a great stay at the Paramount. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Walking distance to so many restaurants and entertainment.

Portland Visit
Good customer service, I wish the cleaning of the room was done thoroughly, as I found women hair on the floor, on bedsheet and tissue in toilet. This are some of the small thing's which requires attention to details..

Best hotel experience
I've attended conferences in the city every year for the past decade and would say that the Paramount Hotel has been my favorite place to stay. Everyone is so friendly, the facility is well kept and the bar/food is top tier. I wish I could give a bad review to keep this spot to myself but it definitely deserves it's roses.
