Stay was great and we felt fancy
Had a great stay at The Nines! Restaurants were delightful and served tasty food. Rooms and service were deluxe. The valet was convenient and communicative. Our valet Timothy was kind and dropped the car off swiftly. We'll be coming back!

Amazing service and beautiful hotel!
Everything was just perfect for my stay as usual! I was especially pleased with the bellman and valet guys! Patrick at the concierge desk is most impressive a true pro! Matt and Shayne are great! Jason Blackman is one of a kind! He is the main reason I keep coming back year after year. Exceptional service!

Outstanding hotel and Conciege Patrick.
Excellent hotel and concierge Patrick! The hotel was beautiful and the Urban Farmer was the best hotel breakfast we ever had. The food is farm fresh and very tasty. Departure had outstanding views and drinks. Patrick gave us excellent advice going to Japanese garden, city tour with TJ, jazz music at 1905 and dinner and breakfast reservations. We can’t wait to return to the Nines hotel.

Awesome service and very luxurious experience
Overall our stay was amazing. It was honestly just a simple get away from our life in North Portland. No Kids, No Dishes, No Housework. Just me and my wife. Everyone at this hotel was very nice and accommodating. One person however that stuck out was Talia, the in room food service woman on the phone. Most people with this job at other hotels just can't wait to get off the phone with you but Talia was very engaging, and helpful with every stupid question I had. She was so patient and even pronounced my last name correctly. Such a simple pleasure but it made a difference in my experience. Definitely recommend staying here. Just remember it is in the middle of a city so you are going to hear an occasional siren or street car pass by. LOL. Something I forgot about.

Best Concierge and centrally located
The Nines is truly situated in the center of downtown Portland. Conveniently close (walking distance) to several nice restaurants we made reservations for. Extremely close to shopping. All the staffs, from check-in, housekeeping to bell boys, are courteous and helpful. I would especially highlight Patrick at the concierge. Before the trip, I emailed the concierge to get restaurants and activities recommendations. Patrick was extremely friendly and helpful on making suggestions and making reservations! His reply turnaround time was within 24 hours. And keep in mind the whole time he did not need to confirm my booking with the hotel (the hotel reservation was not under my name)! All in all, enjoyed the stayed at the Nines! It was clean, had a nice in-house farm to table restaurant. Would stay there again if I am to visit Portland again.
