Portland first time for our anniversary this year
We had a wonderful stay at The Nines while celebrating our anniversary and birthday. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Jayden for taking such great care of us. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. The location is excellent, with many restaurants, shopping, and attractions within walking distance. We especially enjoyed breakfast at Urban Farmer and dinner at Departure. Both were excellent. The Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits made our stay even better, especially the dining credits and late checkout. The only downside is that downtown Portland has quite a few homeless people, especially in the evening, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We always felt safe inside the hotel, and the service inside the hotel was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Portland.

Portland's Best Hotel
We had the pleasure of spending a week at The Nines hotel in Portland. When we decided to travel to Portland, we reached out to the concierge desk for suggestions on tours and activities. Cruz responded to us immediately to ask about our interests and provided a detailed list of suggestions. Her recommendations were wonderful and the tour companies provided were fantastic! Upon arrival at the hotel, Cruz greated us and provided additional information about things to do during our stay. As frequest travelers, we have never experienced the level of concierge service as we did with Cruz! The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All employees were friendly and helpful. We found this stay to be one of the most enjoyable. We would highly recommend The Nines to anyone visiting Portland.

Sad decline
I don’t know what has happened to this hotel - new management ? - but from being my go to great hotel in Portland it has gone so downhill. I notified the hotel of my slightly early arrival - 2:30pm but still no room was ready. I had emails with their first services team offering me a corner room which would be a queen room or a regular king room . I went for the corner room. I was then given a very small standard queen room…needless to say zero amenity as an ambassador . Something has changed here ….a real shame . Hope they change out whoever has reduced their quality and go back to being great

Feeling Spoiled @ The Nines!
We checked in at 4pm, promptly received room keys. The King size room overlooking the atrium was huge. Everything was spotless, the bedding was divine, the amenities in the room from bathing products to in room espresso was fantastic! Cruz, in concierge was extremely helpful and we appreciated her prompt response to our requests! Thank you for a lovely stay!!!
