Disappointed
I was super excited to try a new Marriott hotel in Portland. I was very disappointed to say the least. It’s an old building that they’ve tried to renovate but still appeared old and dirty. The worst part about the day was that there’s some sort of nightclub that bumps music until 2 AM that kept me up each night. The first night I was able to manage with my noise machine, but the second night the base was so deep that it kept me up the entire night. But the hotel offered to switch me, but it was 1:45 in the morning and I had already been there for a few days so I wasn’t going to pack up for a few more hours of sleep. I ended up getting up at 4 AM and getting out of there.

Best hotel in Portland!!!
I travel to Portland often and have found home base when it comes to a hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, the drinks and food were amazing, and the fitness center was absolutely top notch. What made it even better was the staff!! I've never had this level of customer service and kindness and I've stayed at some top notch hotels. If you're looking in downtown Portland, highly highly recommend.. 👍🏻💯💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Completlely remodled old hotel downtown
We did not stay the full night as we were only there to dress for a formal event we were attending. However we rested and were in the room for four or five hours and go a good feel for the experience. As the building is rather old I believe, the rooms ceilings and walls have been striped down to the structural supports, though some local wood had been added to soften the effect. As someone who doesn't care for the "industrial" esthetic I can say though not huge the room was comfortable enough and seemed to be kept in good order, I did not find fault with the mattress and rested easily. The bathroom could use more lighting but it was adequate for evening makeup and very elaborate hair.

Not a bad stay in downtown
Great for the location. Everything was within walking distance. Staff was super nice and the hotel was clean. A bit loud but you are downtown Portland. Could use some TLC in the room. Stains on the furniture could be cleaned very easily and the TV needs replaced. Manager even said so on the television. lol

Lovely spot in downtown!
Great spot downtown, sitting atop the iconic Huber’s restaurant. Drew, at registration, was fabulous. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. The place itself has a cool, modern vibe. Our room was on the top floor and had high concrete ceilings. The gym is on the basement level and had ample equipment. The lighting was too dim for my taste and other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
