Love the Heathman
We love the Heathman. We had some HVAC issues, but our stay was first rate. The property is a Portland icon and well managed. Nice to have a staycation periodically at this hotel. Location is great. Library is a nice feature. All services met our expectations nicely. Thanks.
Wonderful Stay and Excellent Location!
We visited Portland with two other couples for my 40th birthday. The staff was friendly and helpful in getting us all checked in and up to our rooms. The rooms were clean and updated! Everything worked great and the bed and pillows were a dream to sleep on. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Portland.
Watch the extra fees
Older hotel that has been renovated in the heart of Portland. Room was small but fully functionally for what we needed. Was a little surprised at the extra fees they tacked on (resort fee) that wasn’t very well advertised until you make the reservation. Also, be prepared to pay for parking, which isn’t identified very well on the website until after you make your reservation. That was an extra $55/night. The main reason we stayed there was because of a comedy show taking place next door. That was very convenient! Also walking distance to a lot of different things in Portland.
Great stay! Thank you! Appreciated the Tavern working us in for dinner before the show even though we didn't have reservations in advance. Lovely room. Only drawback was loud folks in the hall in the middle of the night - but nothing to do with the hotel itself. It was actually very quiet (I used to live up the street and was surprised at how soundproof it was - could barely hear the traffic!)
Eating our way through PDX!
The Heathman provided a great location with easy access to everything Portland has to offer. Comfortable and beautiful rooms. We visited with two other couples and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you! We will be back!
