Very average at best on a good day
Clean. Over priced. Front desk wasn’t staffed after hours. A good average motel at best. Needs major remodeling. Stairs between floors lacked a handrail on one side. Bedside table lamp broken. Multiple appliances plugged into one extension cord (microwave and fridge and Kuireg on a single 12 or14 gauge wire). Bathtub/shower lacked handholds for entering or exiting. No breakfast offering, but fortunately there is a nice coffee shop nearby. Would not recommend to friends.

Just Adequate
Nice town! Inn is within easy walk of many small shops, cafes, services. Don’t expect a luxury inn. Small rooms. Parking is very limited. Suggestions to management: Install an additional handrail for safety. On steps to second floor as they have only a single handrail; periodically check room condition as furniture needed repair and bedside lamp did not work; confirm light switch in bathroom which is positioned within the wet shower area is not a possible code violation and verify it is on a GFI circuit which it did not appear to be; possible circuit overload with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave on same outlet; provide a no slip mat for tub and a handhold to exit tub safely.

Fresh ground coffee! Softest bedding, jetted tubs
We stsyed at this Inn after a strenuous 8 mike hike in Silver Falls. We arrived after the fromt desk closed, so we called the number on the window, and the lady had our room prepared and gave us the door code, easiest, fastest check in ever! Our room has a coffee bar with a jar of fresh ground coffee, a tea kettle, it is lovely. The bathroom is huge and has a deep jetted jacuzzi! The bed is all white with soft bedding snd really is the nicest bed I have ever slept in , zzzzz zzzzz! We liked the Santee Thai food, just around the corner, we could walk there snd to shops, tbis place is in the middle of town. I would stay here again.

Quirky
Comfortable rooms but not a typical motel. They don't have enough parking spaces for one car per room. We found the last spot to park on the street down the block. No lobby; you pay at a window. Most of the building belongs to a nice restaurant unaffiliated with the motel. Noisy HVAC and room refrigerator. On the plus side, we could walk to all the fun places in downtown Silverton.

Many problems at this hotel
We had a two night booking at this hotel but left after one night. The property is well-located, right in the heart of town. The "office" is not well marked and was staffed by someone we later learned is part of the housekeeping staff. she was not warm or welcoming. Our assigned room was upstairs, next to a laundry room. There was a pile of sheets on the bed and a towel under the pillow. No towels in the bathroom. It was unclear if the room had been cleaned. When we went to the office to report this the person on duty said "that's not possible" several times. She came upstairs with us and then went to call her boss. She said we could transfer to a room downstairs but that it was "dark". We were tired from traveling and didn't want to wait for the first room to be cleaned so we moved. The room was very dark with only a tiny window. It was next to a laundry room and a housekeeping supply room. The doors to both of these were left open at all times and our room was stuck at the end of that area. The floors were filthy. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were threadbare and the sink had only lukewarm water. We could hear a large compressor running all night. The next morning we decided we could not spend a second night in such miserable conditions and moved to another hotel. Walking around the property, we could see inside some of the other rooms, all of which were in better locations. Each room is uniquely furnished with antiques. This could be a great property but management needs to work on some things.
