Beautiful exterior, disappointing interior and stay.
The exterior was very nice and the hotel was well located near downtown Silverton. The room itself was a disappointment. Our room was in need of updating/upgrading and just simple maintenance. The wall clock didn’t work, a lightbulb in the bathroom was burned out, the hot water was just a trickle (though the cold water flowed well), the smart TV was difficult to operate with long delays before the next channel appeared when the channel was changed, at times the TV picture and sound were 10 or more seconds out of sync, the finish on the nightstand was old and peeling, the flooring was old and dirty looking ceramic tile. I would not recommend this hotel unless I had heard they had undergone renovations.

No Silver at the Silverton Inn
We close the Silverton Inn and Suites because it is centrally located to the historic town of Silverton. The Inn is attached to a restaurant but they have independent owners. Typically the Inn attendant was not at the desk, which meant we had to call this person. The Inn did not have an ice machine and we had to ask the restaurant for ice. Our room was a “no frills” room with tile floors that need a grout cleaning desperately and the bedding was very basic! We expected more for the $200+ a night that we paid and we would not stay here again.

Very average at best on a good day
Clean. Over priced. Front desk wasn’t staffed after hours. A good average motel at best. Needs major remodeling. Stairs between floors lacked a handrail on one side. Bedside table lamp broken. Multiple appliances plugged into one extension cord (microwave and fridge and Kuireg on a single 12 or14 gauge wire). Bathtub/shower lacked handholds for entering or exiting. No breakfast offering, but fortunately there is a nice coffee shop nearby. Would not recommend to friends.

Just Adequate
Nice town! Inn is within easy walk of many small shops, cafes, services. Don’t expect a luxury inn. Small rooms. Parking is very limited. Suggestions to management: Install an additional handrail for safety. On steps to second floor as they have only a single handrail; periodically check room condition as furniture needed repair and bedside lamp did not work; confirm light switch in bathroom which is positioned within the wet shower area is not a possible code violation and verify it is on a GFI circuit which it did not appear to be; possible circuit overload with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave on same outlet; provide a no slip mat for tub and a handhold to exit tub safely.

Fresh ground coffee! Softest bedding, jetted tubs
We stsyed at this Inn after a strenuous 8 mike hike in Silver Falls. We arrived after the fromt desk closed, so we called the number on the window, and the lady had our room prepared and gave us the door code, easiest, fastest check in ever! Our room has a coffee bar with a jar of fresh ground coffee, a tea kettle, it is lovely. The bathroom is huge and has a deep jetted jacuzzi! The bed is all white with soft bedding snd really is the nicest bed I have ever slept in , zzzzz zzzzz! We liked the Santee Thai food, just around the corner, we could walk there snd to shops, tbis place is in the middle of town. I would stay here again.
