Wonderful old/new historic, remodeled hotel in the middle of downtown Hood River. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. They did a marvelous job renovating it, especially the downstairs public common rooms. Beautiful lobby with piano, bar, and lounge. Great hidden large spa/hot tub to rival a Japanese public bath, without the 'exposure'. Similar to Japan again, rooms on the tiny side, but efficient. Window faced an alley, so no view. Nice shower. I found the bed to be very uncomfortable, over-soft, so that one sinks in. Perfect location downtown, with walkable access to everything.

Beautiful Hotel!
We booked this property on a whim as a one night stay at the end of a road trip. This boutique hotel is a gem! Gorgeous interior! Perfect location allowing us to easily walk to a few breweries & many dining options! Staff was friendly &helpful. Hotel even near train track was very quiet at least our room was. Ended our evening on the beautiful rooftop bar with stunning views of the water & gorgeous sunset! We will definitely be back!

This hotel in downtown Hood River is adorable, warm, and comfortable. The design feels thoughtful and inviting, with a calm, modern aesthetic that makes it easy to settle in right away. The location is ideal—walkable to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront—yet still feels tucked away and peaceful. The spa was a highlight—the water temperature was perfect and made it incredibly relaxing. We also really enjoyed the food, which was delicious and a great addition to the overall experience. Everything felt intentional, from the finishes to the overall atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again.

What a great stay in Hood River in a new Boutique Hotel!
We were impressed with Lightwell from check in, help during our stay (not that we needed much, just questions on Hood River itself) and to our check out! This hotel exemplifies Boutique! Our room was comfortable and the view to the Columbia River was nice. It's location is perfect to all things Hood River.
