This place is fantastic. Walkable to many local spots (cafe, restaurant, bar, shopping, etc) and fantastic amenities (spa, soaking hot tub, sauna). Everything is clean and it was just right. I also appreciated that it didn’t have a chain / franchise setup and felt like a local spot. Would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

It was amazing!!!! Our server, Jose, was incredible, so attentive and accommodating to our large party. The bartender, Amber, was pumping out drinks so fast!! An amazing experience, highly recommend.

Lightwell was a really cute place to stay! We absolutely loved Hood River, and the coffee shop attached to the hotel was a great bonus. The biggest downside was how incredibly thin the walls were. We could hear people walking around, talking, and pretty much everything happening around us. They do provide earplugs in the room, but personally, I wasn’t going to sleep with earplugs in. Overall, we loved the town and really liked the feel of the hotel, but the noise was definitely a downside. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s something I’d keep in mind before booking.
