Weekend Getaway
Very comfortable hotel with a wonderful location and view! Located steps away from the ocean and Pelican brewery! Always a go to for a quick getaway.

Great stay, great view
Hotel was very centrally located, everything within walking distance. Market, beach, two restaurants and a cafe that is attached to the hotel itself. They allowed us to check in very early, even though we did not make the request, and that was incredibly appreciated. They saw in my reservation notes we were bringing dogs, so they gave us towels, bowls and treats upon check in, which is very thoughtful, as most of the time pets are looked at as the opposite of guests most of the time LOL. The lobby was clean and inviting. Loved the staging and furniture. The rooms were remodeled very nicely, and the view from the room was great. The road is a little loud, but what are you gonna do. Once traffic dies down, you can crack the sliding glass door and listen to the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we could have participated in the pool/mini golf, but maybe next trip. Thanks!

Lovely remodel, same great experience
We come to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda a few times a year for the perfect location, simplicity and price for 1-3 night stays without all of the cleaning/booking fees of a vacation rental. The 2025 remodeled rooms with a keurig coffeemaker, fridge and microwave are great! And you can now see over the balcony rail with the new comfy bar height Adirondack chairs and table. New owners and remodeled rooms but same familiar staff and overall quality experience. Book it!

Will be looking for somewhere else after 10+ years staying here.
Our family has stayed here many times over the last 10-12 years and have always felt welcome and appreciated. Not this time. The room upgrades are nice, but not worth the price increase. I will be looking for a different hotel for our next beach trip. I made my reservations using the phone reservation number. I was surprised when the card that was given "to hold the reservation" was charged with 2/3 of the total cost a couple days before arrival, with the balance charged at check-in. When i questioned this with the desk clerk, his response was something close to "oh well, sign here please". There is nobody at the front desk from 8 pm to 8 am. No warm cookies at check-in. I used the "text to check-out" option but am still waiting for my folio to be emailed over 24 hours after checkout. I am left feeling like I am only a credit card number they can charge to.
