Fantastic getaway
Very nice hotel in a beautiful area. Pricing was very reasonable considering a complimentary breakfast was included with the price (the breakfast bar had many items to choose from). Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a place to stay.

Cozy, comfortable, and convenient home away from home :)
This hotel exceeded our expectations. It initially seemed like an excellent value for the price, but we were even more impressed once we arrived. The friendly, caring staff and thoughtful amenities (including beach chairs, towels, complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, and a delicious breakfast) made our stay feel special from the moment we checked in. We felt at home right away, and it was clear that great care had been taken with every detail. The location was fantastic, with easy walking access to the beach, which we loved. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, and the fireplace made it especially cozy. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The sea air is a tonic
Great location for exploring land and seaside. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Book an upstairs room for daylight and views.

Lovely Inn
The Inn at Cannon Beach is an absolute gem, and we had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Check-in was fantastic; the young woman at the front desk was incredibly sweet and greeted us with our choice of complimentary cookies. We stayed in room 216 on the second floor, which was extremely clean and possessed a charming, old-school, home-like vibe. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Our only minor critique is that we wished there were a few more outlets, but we easily managed by using our battery packs, utilizing the plugs on the alarm clock, and unplugging a couple of lamps to accommodate our devices. The room also featured a switch-activated fireplace that was incredibly easy to use, a table with two chairs, and a lovely welcoming touch of complimentary saltwater taffy. The amenities here are excellent and well thought out. There was a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave, sink, glassware, and a coffee maker, as well as a closet with plenty of hanging space, a broom, a dustpan, and a standing fan. The bathroom was spacious, boasting a shower with amazing water pressure and consistently hot water, plenty of towels, a hair dryer, and even a fuzzy bath mat that made the space feel extra cozy. We also absolutely loved our private balcony deck, which had two chairs and a small table, making it a very peaceful spot to unwind. Every morning, we took full advantage of the complimentary breakfast before our daily hikes. It was the perfect simple pick-me-up and included great staples like waffles, an oatmeal station, multiple cereals, a yogurt station with granola and berries, muffins, bagels, sausage, eggs, tea, and plenty of coffee. The location is ideal because everyone felt very respectful and the grounds were entirely peaceful. It is far enough from town to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough that you can take a gorgeous 30-minute walk down the sandy beach right into town, or just take a quick 8-minute drive. Plus, right across the street, you have a handy convenience store, a pizza place, and Sea Level Coffee. My only real drawback is that if you are a light sleeper, this hotel might not be right for you. There is a pond in the middle of the grounds, and at night, the frogs completely come to life. It was amazing how they would all start up in unison and just continue through the night, but some nights were worse than others. This is obviously not the hotel's fault—welcome to nature!—but they were relentless and definitely kept us up for an entirety of one night. And no, it is not a recording, they are very real frogs! If you are sensitive to noise, definitely bring earplugs. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it.
