Charming Stay
Very quaint hotel in a small old town. It also has a small garden available to guests to enjoy. We were told that the restaurant adjacent to the lobby is very good, but it was closed when we were there.

A Gem in the prairie!
I first discovered this beautiful hotel a few years ago by chance. We were travelling, and plans abruptly changed, and we simply needed a place to spend the night; Hotel Prairie had a room, so we took it. When we got there, we were not expecting a restored, historic landmark! I immediately fell in love, and have returned again just to stay here as we spent time touring Eastern Oregon. There is a shared kitchen that makes you feel at home and a place to visit over coffee, with plenty of room in the fridge to store food you brought. The back yard is delightful with patio chairs and a porch swing. The front lobby is a very cozy place to relax. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The very small, friendly town of Prairie City is a great place to post-up for your trip to this region.

Great pub, friendly staff and fabulous food in the outback.
This beautifully renovated country pub is well worth a visit if you are in the area. We had a meal last week and the food was fantastic, the atmosphere is great, the beer is cold and the staff were friendly. Just love those chips with 'prairie dust' on them.

Great little place to stay!
This is such a beautiful, historic hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet, the staff are extremely friendly, and the Roan coffee shop down the street is lovely!
