Excellent centrally located downtown Portland hotel
My travel companion and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lucia! I've booked the 2 night stay through a credit card travel portal booking. Since then I've called to confirm the booking was secured and the staff handling the calls were courteous and efficient. We had arrived to the hotel late into the evening, the check in gentleman recommended a delicious restaurant that was still open as we were feeling peckish. We've crossed paths with various hotel staff throughout the stay, all of them were friendly and helpful. The location is so central as it is easy to walk to different adjacent neighborhoods or hop onto the bus or MAX to get to PDX. It is so thoughtful of the hotel to have a coffee/tea bar in the mornings and flavored water dispenser during the day. Since multiple lobbies looks so nice, we had enjoyed reading our book there. We would highly recommend it to friends and family!

Great room, helpful staff
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with very nice, well sized rooms. In particular, the front desk staff and valets were really nice and easy to work with.

OK but with some caveats...
Location was fine. Our room wasn't ready for us although we arrived 45 minutes AFTER check-in time. The hot water went out on our third morning there. They fixed it relatively quickly but we had to leave to catch a flight so no shower for us. "Happy Hour" is just complimentary beer, no wine for those who aren't beer drinkers. Would be a good idea if they had a few bottles of wine behind the bar as well. Seems like that would be a no-brainer to me. Room and hotel were clean. We were on the 5th floor and it was quiet. A/C worked well. Staff was pleasant and professional.
