It is run down, but that is a known issue. It's still on the beach, they offer a nice free breakfast, and it is more affordable than other promenade hotels. The issue that was unknown and disappointing was that the water was out for almost two days. A water leak may not have been preventable, but the staff reaction could have been better. They never offered bottled water for brushing teeth, washing hands, etc. The staff was vague about when it would be fixed. A maintenance man that came to our room was extremely rude. I have been a fan for many years of the Ebb Tide's sister site, the High Tide, but the High Tide has doubled their prices after a renovation. I would stay in the Ebb Tide again despite the issues because I was very honest in their survey and would hope they would be better in the future.

Good value for size room, I booked. Also, they had a great breakfast selection the next day! Super friendly staff too. And loved my room location, ground floor and close to grassy area for my dog :)

Wonderful "beachy" oceanfront hotel
We stayed for two nights at this delightful hotel in Seaside, Oregon. It's one of the smaller hotels on the beach, and has that wonderful "beachy" feel without the impersonal treatment of the larger hotels. The staff was amazing, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. The fresh 6pm cookies in the office were a tasty treat, the rooms were lovely, and the cleaning staff were always there to help out with fresh beach towels, or whatever we needed. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Seaside.

Friendly staff, good location, and nice enough rooms. Had a minor issue where our shower curtain completely wetter through and it appeared it wasn't the first time it had happened. Other than that, great place to stay.

Two perfect days...
Check in was friendly and efficient, the room was very clean, comfortable bed, soft pillows and spectacular view. Breakfast room was overcrowded, so plan to grab & go...
