Warmth, comfort and fabulous hosts in a beautiful riverside nature setting!
As we walked into this wonderful B&B, we felt like we were visiting a favorite relative’s home. The setting is gorgeous! Tom and Karen have created a beautifully comfortable B&B. The food is delicious and they accommodate your dietary needs. Fresh fruit from their gardens is wonderful. Tom baked the best breads!! A sourdough baguette, banana bread, whole grain (the best I have ever had) and scones!! Afternoon appetizers are lovely. The rooms are cozy and beautiful. We will be staying here each time we visit our Springfield family. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Great stay
Because Mckenzie Orchard is a newer B & B, it had a different feel to us compared to the B & Bs in historic buildings that we usually stay in. Not that it was a bad thing, just different. Our room was extremely spacious. As was the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. I don't usually sleep well when traveling, but I did here. I loved having a little seating area outside of our room. Breakfast was good each morning. We're early risers and like to get an early start to our day, so the flexible timing for breakfast was a bonus. We enjoyed walking down to the river to catch the sunrise. The one thing that I liked that you don't get at most B & Bs was a full size refrigerator, with an ice maker in the kitchenette downstairs for the guests. There's also a coffee maker and microwave. Being in a lower level room, we could hear footsteps above, but it didn't disturb us, as guests that frequent B &Bs are usually quieter and asleep earlier than people staying in hotels. At least that's been our experience over the years. Don't hesitate to book a stay hear.

Best bet for Eugene
Fantastic serene oasis away from the city yet still so close and convenient. The room and bath were very clean, spacious and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. Tom’s breakfasts were different and delicious every day. We particularly enjoyed the homegrown pears and apples. A great place to unwind, walks along the yard and Mackenzie river, fall leaves and convenient to Eugene and 5 freeway too. Can’t recommend enough.

Hidden Gem
Absolutely outstanding!!! Tom was amazing. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and the beds are super comfortable. Tom is a life saver!! Thank you for accommodating our family during the Junior Olympics when all other hotels were sold out. And Tom's breakfast are out of this world! Our kids did not want to leave!

Great place
We stayed at McKenzie Orchards B&B for 4 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Great place, large comfortable rooms, wonderful home cooked breakfast, new and different each morning. If you’re going to Eugene area this is the place to stay.
