Wonderful Hosts, Fantastic Place!

Our hosts made us feel warm and welcome, and the inn was simply lovely! Breakfast was simple and delicious, and coffee was excellent! There's even a little 'treehouse' for kids to enjoy... Highly recommended!!!

Lucky us!

We hadn't made a reservation in advance due to a change in our travel situation. We stopped by just on the off chance there might be a spot and a last minute cancellation had occurred right before we showed up! The breakfast provided was delicious and we took advantage of the bikes that were new and free for guests to use and after talking with the owner, set out on a fabulous 12 mile bike ride that gave us a wonderful feel for the country side on little traveled roads. The owners were delightful and added to the quality of our stay! This is an Inn rather than a hotel and there is a wonderful living room to enjoy with all kinds of books and guides of the area.

Such a fun charming place!

This Inn is a great find in Joseph! It is very trendy, cool spot. Rooms and lobby area are very nice and immaculate. We especially appreciated the patios and decks with electric fire pits which we used one night to have drinks around. Eric and Missy were great hosts and the breakfast was exceptional.

Some places just exceed any expectations

One of the best places we've ever stayed, immaculate, very friendly, super breakfasts (have now set a high standard to match) wonderful place and helped us out when snowed in too. I'd not hesitate to stay there again, and indeed would be a good reason to return to Joseph, just to stay here.

Perfectly beautiful!

What an amazing place to stay! Missy, Eric and their team were so friendly and welcoming, the whole place felt like home - they were happy to give us recommendations for places to visit, the best places to eat, and other things to do. We were unexpectedly stranded for an extra day as the roads were closed due to bad weather, Missy immediately arranged for us to keep our gorgeous room, and checked all the local traffic sites (and social media groups!) to help us get to our next destination safely. The Inn is walking distance from the town and close to the lake. The rooms are all beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The decor reflects the region's rich history and cultural significance, which makes the whole place all the more special. Oh, and the breakfasts were superb! If I could give Kokanee more than five stars then I happily would - it's not often you find people who are genuinely kind and helpful, and who really cannot do enough for you. It's a long way from our home in the UK, but it's definitely a place we won't forget, and would love to visit again.
