Oasis in the Willamette Valley
The Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard was outstanding! From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcome and even at-home. The food was delicious, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff was so kind and helpful. My only regret was staying for just one night!

A Hidden Gem That Surpassed Every Expectation
The most memorable part of our stay was, without a doubt, the meals — they were truly some of the most unforgettable dining experiences of our lives. Our dinner at Anthology was extraordinary. Chef Chase and Chef Zack crafted a menu that felt like a true celebration of Oregon — creative, beautifully balanced, and full of depth. Every course surprised us in the best way and reminded us why we love discovering places like this. But what elevated the entire trip was Caroline. She reached out to us right after we made our reservation and immediately made us feel welcomed. She helped plan our stay with so much care — checking on our dinner reservations, stepping in to rebook an off-site meal when a restaurant unexpectedly closed for Thanksgiving, and ensuring every moment flowed effortlessly. She truly is the star of the property. And breakfast… Chef Logan prepared the best breakfast we’ve ever eaten. The falafel benedict transported me straight back to the streets of Dubai, and the creative juices and kombucha were exactly what we needed after a full day of wine tasting. Each morning felt restorative and special. This property is truly a hidden gem, offering an experience that rivals — if not exceeds — any tropical resort or seven-star hotel we’ve stayed at. Together — the meals, the chefs, and the warmth from the team, including Ray and Raymond — made our stay deeply personal and absolutely unforgettable.

Magical
Ryan and Nick were gracious and capable hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The inn and granger estate are on the most beautiful vineyard , the hotel and the staff are charming , and the grounds and fire pits are enchanting . My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer ! Thank you !!!

Cannot recommend staying at Black Walnut Inn more.
Our stay at Black Walnut Inn was incredibly memorable - some of the things that stood out was being able to watch the sunrise every morning from the patio with incredible views of mt hood and the valley below. Then every morning after watching the sunrise we would have the incredible breakfast on site that is included with the stay. The hospitality and service of everyone that we interacted with throughout the stay was top notch. Lastly, the dining experience at Anthology was one of a kind. Cannot recommend staying at Black Walnut Inn more.
