You will want to come back!
I can’t say enough good things about my stays at Barking Mad Farm B&B. Emily and Rob are truly wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Enterprise and Joseph. What really sets this place apart is the personal touch. If anything wasn’t just right with my room or I needed advice on a local hike, Emily and Rob were quick to address. They also took the time to show me around the farm, which was a fantastic experience. Playing fetch with the dogs and cuddling the adorable piglets was definitely a highlight. I’ve returned several times to stay with Emily and Rob over the last five years, and each visit has been just as delightful as the last. I can’t wait to come back again. If you’re looking for a charming and welcoming getaway, Barking Mad Farm B&B is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Gem of a B&B in a spectacular setting!
I cannot say enough good things about Barking Mad Farm and hosts, Emily and Rob. My husband and I have visited Barking Mad at least once a year for ten years. From our first time, we knew we'd make it an annual tradition. The farmhouse is charming and warm. We felt at home the moment we walked in. I think we've stayed in every room over the years and they all have their own charm. The setting is spectacular -- the Wallowas, foothills, bison heards, pigs and piglets, and the stars at night. Spectacular! It's such a special get away and perfect for a group of friends from Portland to go, disconnect from the city and spend quality time in and outdoors. Emily and Rob are super warm and friendly and we look forward to seeing them as much as anything. Highly, highly recommend. It's a truly special place.

Bad place to stay.
Barking Mad Farm is not the lovely five-star place it is made up to be. It is a room over the garage. It is billed as Seven Devils "Suite" but the dictionary defines "suite" as a "group of rooms occupied as a unit." This is a lie. It is one room and not a very good one at that. The room doesn't qualify as a motel room. It has NO cable; NO DVD player that works: NO bathtub; the shower doesn't have a towel bar; the steps to the door are very steep; the air conditioning unit is totally inadequate. The floor of the bathroom is made up of ceramic tile. Extremely slippery. I fell and hurt my shoulder and bashed my nose. I used a towel to ice it. BMF charged me for the towel! The blinds are a cheap paper with a small string to lower them. When I tried to lower the blind one side went down and the other didn't stretching the paper. BMF charged me for the "damage." This is not a good place to stay.

Peaceful time in near the Eagle Caps & Enterprise Oregon
One of the nicest B&Bs I've ever stayed in. Super great hosts, Emily & Rob Klavins; are also area conservation leaders in their own right. My room was uber comfortable and this one was spacious. Plan to return next year with my dear wife...see Zumwalt Prairie and explore more local hikes and sights.

A beautiful visit
We loved our stay in this comfortable, beautiful B and B. Our hosts were kind and pleasant, and the farm and views were amazing. Breakfast was outstanding! We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.
