Fantastic experience. Would book again!
Highly recommend! We knew which wineries we wanted to visit and made the reservations ourselves, though they would have done it all for us (maybe next time). Ivan was our guide, and he was fantastic. Very personable, shared much about the area, the wineries, made a great lunch recommendation (The Hayward at Mac Mkt). Kept us on time to each reservation. Also gave us a great recommendation for another winery during our visit. We would definitely book with Black Tie Tours again.

Definitely book them!
Black Tie Tours was great from the start. They really do cater the experience to you/your group (they provide a detailed questionnaire). We did two days of tours in the Willamette Valley and Black Tie planned and scheduled everything for us. It was perfect! I did start researching vineyard (but there’s 700+ so it was hard to really choose the best ones). The driver (Ivan) picked us up on time, was very knowledgeable about the region and individual vineyards, and personable….really made us feel appreciated and gave the trip that little extra something special. I would definitely book them again, and have recommended them to everyone we’ve talked to about our trip. Thanks again!!

Ease and Expertise!
Although a self-guided tour of Oregon wine country is easy enough to do, leaving the planning and driving to someone else is pure bliss. We've toured with Black Tie twice, once with another couple and once with just the two of us. Each time, we appreciated the care they took to design the perfect experience for us. We've spent years exploring the area, but when we toured with Black Tie, they were able to recommend wonderful wineries that were new to us. They really know their stuff, and the bits of history and inside knowledge they sprinkled throughout the tours made each trip even more enjoyable. We've also been impressed by the reputation they have established in the industry. We recently spent a long weekend in the Newberg area, and we consistently heard glowing reviews about this company in the all of the tasting rooms and restaurants we visited. After our great experience on our tour this time, we decided we need to schedule a day of Black Tie touring each time we visit!

Truffle Hunting Bougie Tour
We were excited to do the Bougie Truffle Hunt. Little did we know the truffle hunting dog Ella had passed away in December. Another dog was brought in but she had been spooked earlier in the day and was distracted wanting to play more than hunt for truffles! The truffle hunting puppy in training Ash, being a puppy wanted to run and play as well. We did get to play a hide and seek game with him hiding truffles underneath cones and watching him find them. Eventually he’ll be a great truffle hunting dog. We enjoyed a meal and wines from a local winemaker. The food was delicious. We did learn a lot about how the dogs are trained but I felt for the $300 per person price we should’ve been informed prior to the tour that the dog pictured on the website had passed and one of the dogs would be a puppy in training. I probably would’ve waited until the puppy had more training under his belt to do the tour.

Fun wine tour
We loved Balck Tie Tours! We had Brent as our driver. He was very courteous and did his best to keep our slow paced group on time. We were driven to 4 different wineries over 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at each one.
