The best way to experience Willamette

We spent two days with Backcountry Wine Tours and it was GREAT. Extremely thoughtful and well curated days that gave us exposure to a few fantastic wineries that were a bit off the beaten path. Highly recommend Jack and his crew of knowledgeable and super friendly drivers to take care of you for the day (or two or three)

Excellent tour and easy day trip from Portland

This was so much fun!! Family from out of town and I had a wonderful day with Dillon - he was a great guide and the wineries we visited were fantastic. I really liked how tailored the day was to things we noted we were interested in, and the pacing of the day was just perfect. I'm excited to visit the new bottle shop and tasting room in SE. Will definitely book with Backcountry again and recommend with no reservations!

Great wine tour

Dillon was an awesome host. His knowledge of the Oregon wine history and laid back style of presenting it was awesome! Definitely recommend this tour!

The perfect day

We booked a November trip for a group of friends and had a blast. Nico was our driver and guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and full of hood info, both about the Willamette Valley and Portland. We would definitely book again with this company.

Great day of wine!

We had a private tour with a group of 8. This was a great experience from start to finish. We opted for the deluxe tour so they took care of everything. They chose the wineries, provided lunch, and just made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger. Two of the wineries were home runs. Though we weren’t impressed with the third winery, the guide recognized the situation and took us to an unscheduled stop which totally made up for it. We got plenty of good information without being overwhelmed with chatter. We had a lot of good laughs and great wine. We will definitely be calling them again on our next trip to the Willamette Valley.
