Fun family time!
My family and I had such a fun, memorable experience! We recently did a half day on the Upper Clackamas at the end of August. Water levels were lower but still had some exciting Class 2 and 3 rapids. My husband and teen boys have rafted a few times before but it was my first time. The guides were excellent, very organized and put my mind at ease. Our guide, Willow, did a great job and I would definitely recommend O.R.E. to locals and tourists if you've never done it before! At the end of the trip they give each boat a USB drive with pics of your experience!

Great river rafting trip!!
Fantastic river rafting experience. We did a full day on McKenzie River rafting trip for 9 people. It was a great trip start to finish. Todd and Fisher were great guides for our two rafts. They kept it fun and we also had a great little lunch at the halfway mark. Would highly recommend this outfit. They created a great day in Oregon for us. We enjoyed every bit. And it was a beautiful river and the drive to get there was nice too.

Amazing, Well Organized & Fun!!
We just did the 1/2 day on the Clackamas - family of 4 including 8 & 10 year old. The experience was amazing! It's just an hour drive outside Portland. We went on a Monday & had the river to ourself literally, which was so special. Oregon River Experiences was staffed amazingly, including excellent river guide plus driver & photographer/organizer - the operation was quick, seamless & safe. The river itself was sooooo much fun. We rafted late August & the rapids were a blast - we never got bored. We have rafted another river and this one beat it hands down. We can't wait to come back next time to do the full day. Also, they do river rafting on a bunch of other rivers in the area. It's crazy more Portlanders aren't taking advantage of this unbelievable experience (I've talked to many who haven't been). The views from the river were beautiful in spite of the fire damage. It's interesting to observe the forest recovery.

A real life Tom Sawyer Adventure.
White Water Road Scholar Rafting Trip August 2024 This rafting/Glamping trip was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. We had an incredible group of 14 and crew of 6. I’m still walking around in state of bliss. The natural beauty of this canyon is best seen from a raft. This is a real life Tom Sawyer experience. Cowboy chuckwagon style home cooked meals (3) and charcuterie + wine happy hour every day. And to keep it exciting a microburst of hail, gale force wind and rain hit the campsite. A special shout out to Natalie who threw 2 giant rocks into the corners of my tent to keep it from tumbling down the hill. (And Carl, fellow camper, who staked down my tent rain tarp) Also Natalie gave an excellent riverside talk about the formation of the canyon and the impact of water. But the real thanks goes to RYLIN, our fearless leader! Thank you for your attention to keeping us safe and well informed all matters from “the groover” to raft/kayak safety. Your positive/happy/smart approach to life is contagious. Without your support and encouragement I never would have attempted to try the kayak. Many thanks Rylin! And finally, a very special thanks to Pascal, Lucy, Ben and Eli for your behind the scene hustle. Loading the rafts, cooking and all the stuff we take for granted. Thank you crew. Best.ever. vacation.
