Amazing little museum
This is a must see museum in Klamatg Falls. Housed in an old armory, it has great exhibits on the history of KFalls. Lots of info on pioneers and the local Native American tribe, the Modoc. Their rock collection is excellent. We spent a pleasant 2 hours exploring.

Great Time at the Museum
What a nice little gem! My wife and I visited Klamath Falls last weekend and decided to stop by the Klamath County Museum. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Personal highlights included (1) a great exhibit on the regional logging industry with varying perspectives from the scientific community, the logging industry, hikers and environmentalists; (2) a fabulous exhibit on the shameless internment of Japanese Americans during WW2 based on Klamath Falls’ close proximity to the Tule Lake internment camp; (3) a fascinating exhibit on Japanese WW2 balloon bombs which flew at high altitudes, riding the jet stream and actually landing in Oregon, and (4) interesting materials documenting the local conflict over water rights. There is some content for kids, but generally the museum materials catered to older children as well as adults. Also, there’s no air conditioning so if you’re going in the summer you should consider the museum’s morning hours. But overall, it’s a great regional museum focusing on local history, geography and challenges

What a gem of a museum
If you like prehistory or the period of first contact, this is the place for you. Some of the best examples of Narive American artifacts I have ever seen. The exhibits here are educational and done well. They actually have the Paisley Cave sandles here, if you know, you know. What a gem in Klamath Falls. A++++++++

Gems in the wilderness
My husband and I visited the museum with low to no expectations and came away surprised in the best way. The museum is beautifully curated and holds something for everyone. There is an interactive section for children with both information about the area and opporunties to the consider the world around them in a meaningful way. We adults found plenty to interest us. We spent about an hour viewing the exhibits. Fee was very reasonable,.
