Safari Town Surf Shop is a family owned and operated surf shop established in 1989, on the central Oregon coast in Lincoln City.

Guided Tours

Safari Town offers guided kayak tours of the beautiful Salmon River Estuary with wildlife viewing opportunities. Guests paddle out near the Salmon River mouth where the river meets the sea. Kayak tours offer amazing views of Cascade Head, Three Rocks, God’s Thumb, and more.

Buy and Rent

Offerings include surfboards, wetsuits, bodyboards, skim boards, kayaks, bike rentals, skateboards, clothing, and more. Safari Town also offers a complete rental department with services including surfing lessons and equipment rentals, kayak rentals and tours, and fat bike rentals.

    Great surfing lesson

    Lesson for my 3 high school kids with Dale was great! Shop was easy to work with and accommodating, thanks Tony. Waves were good and helpful to have beginner lessons here in PNW

    Two thumbs up for this great shop, its owner, Tony, and my surf instructor, Dale. If you want a fun outdoor experience in Oregon, this is the place to go. They will not disappoint. Instead, you'll come away with memories to cherish forever.

    Safari town surf shop, best of the best!

    Great people and products, they have everything you need for a quick surf trip. The location is right around the corner from some of the best beach breaks in the area. Rental prices are unmatched and the guides know their stuff.

    Salmon River Estuary kayaking tour on the Oregon coast.

    This is a fantastic kayak tour on the Salmon River! Kendall gave excellent insight and information to the significance of this gorgeous estuary. He even offered to take our photos so we didn’t have to worry about dropping phones in the water!
