Incredible whale watching.
The classiest whale watching ever, from our sofa every day. A large resort 171 units which is always under renovation as needed. Classic Worldmark amenities. Be aware that there are many, many seagulls and an active common murre breeding area so there can be strong odors and much bird poop on the grass, paths, and structures. Take 2 pair of slip on shoes!

Beautiful location but watch your step
No a/c but didn't need it as temps were in the 50-60s, never could figure out what was making the unit so hot all the time as we never turned on any heaters. To keep it comfortable we had to have the patio door open all the time. Not very comfortable: beds, chairs, couches. Wish they would leave notes when there are problems in the unit- when we went to use the oven the first time both racks were at the very top, that seemed weird, so I moved one down to second from the bottom. Ended up burning the bacon! I've done bacon in the oven for years at 400 20-25 minutes. Did it here at 400 for 15 minutes and it burned. We ended up moving the shelves back to the top for everything and lowering the temp by 10 degrees. Water: water from the sink is disgusting! Buy yourselves some water from the store and a bag of ice. Walmart is your best deal- but bring your own sacks, they only have paper and charge 5 cents a bag. I wish worldmark would offer reusable bags in the units or the front desk to make things easier. Bird poop everywhere- yes we are on the coast and yes there is a huge rock where birds are always at, but it would be nice if a couple of times a day they could go out in the worst areas and at the very least move it to the ocean side of the trail where no one could walk. Felt bad for the parents of the kids that were out running and rolling around on the grass outside of Building B, getting poop all over their feet and clothes!

Beautiful seaside resort
I have stayed at several Worldmarks, and this is one of the best. We had a spacious, oceanfront, two-bedroom that was well appointed. The resort also has 3 swimming pools and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor), as well as tennis and basketball courts. You can walk to Tidal Raves restaurant nearby, which is a must when in Depoe Bay.

The trip of a lifetime!!
Everything about this place is absolutely wonderful!!! Room was amazing, views were spectacular, front office staff top notch, after a week I was ready to stay indefinitely. Unfortunately, WorldMark was not on board with my plan. We had to make ourselves leave the property during our stay because of it's beauty. We did go out and about and had fun seeing the sights and exploring the local stores. I recommend Whale Bites in Depoe Bay, Georgie's in Newport, Otis Café in Lincoln City.

After 20 years of coming here ...still a great place to go to
All staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Cheerful and positive greeting you with a smile and hello. Activities throughout the week include making s'mores and root beer floats. We are doing 11 days two bedroom two bath. Of course we have a balcony that overlooks depoe Bay quite a few whale sightings. You want a vacation stay here this is just what the doctor ordered.
