Nothing good but the partial lake view
Stayed in room 1 on 03/07/20. Toilet ran, no hangers in either closet. Dated decor. Outside back deck had boards that were rotted away with a gap that an animals or child could fall into. Road noise was definitely noticeable. On checkout clerk would not give me a printed receipt...

Not fancy, but...
The owners were very nice, and the lake was great. We were able to carry our kayaks down to the lake from the parking lot. Not a super short walk carrying a boat- but doable. For the price/ location, we were content. One thing though- no oven in our room, so don’t count on picking up frozen pizza for dinner. 😉

Definitely worth return visits
After obtaining a refund for an anticipated 2-night stay at the very disappointing Fish Mill Lodges on Lake Siltcoos, we happened upon Lake Woahink Suites and were fortunate to obtain the last remaining room for our stay on the Oregon Coast. The owners, Natalie and Milton Nagrone, were wonderful, offering to show us our room before checking in without our even asking. The room (all 6 rooms are virtually identical in layout) was very large, with full sliding glass door access to a rear deck and beautiful view of the lake through the trees. (Photos offered here are very representative.) Furnishings are fresh and comfortable, the main room, kitchen area, and bath were absolutely spotlessly clean as was the solid dark green carpeting which would show the slightest bit of dirt were any present. The supersize king bed was very comfortable with bed linens seemingly almost new and color coordinated. Although the rooms are separated from US 101 by only a wide parking lot, the room was very quiet, attesting to quality glazing and good insulation. A wide main path leads down to the lake and a dock with chairs for looking over the lake. We had brought an inflatable 2-person kayak which was easily launched from the dock and stored on the roomy deck off our room. A nice feature of Lake Woahink is the fact that it is largely protected from strong afternoon coastal winds, making it easier to manage a kayak than would be a wider (east/west) lake or one with less of a north/south orientation. If I wanted to be super critical, I might take issue with the wooden railings on the decks and connecting boardwalk needing refinishing, a sticking sliding glass door, and maybe a need for newer plastic deck and dock chairs, but I’d easily trade those “deficiencies” for the reasonable room rate and especially thoughtful and friendly couple who owns and maintains the property.

Great place to stay!
The lake view is beautiful from the back patio. It is quiet, and relaxing. The room was spacious with a kitchenette. Most importantly, they are pet friendly! We were going to stay one night and ended up staying 7 nights because it was so cozy. The managers are super friendly as well. We will definitely stay again!

Cozy Get Away
Cozy little getaway just south of of Florence in the heart of The Dunes. Dog friendly, comfortable, clean and private. If you want resort living don't bother, but if you are looking for a short getaway near the coast and near the dunes area this is the place.
