The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to both ends of town and to the beach. It is a little far from Haystack itself but not bad if you like walking. The outdoor atmosphere was ok but could be improved with little things…more chairs around the firepit, an outdoor picnic table/chairs, and by providing a small bundle of wood for one fire a night. Parking was easy and convenient. The rooms were average at best especially for the cost. No clothes hangers were provided. 3 coffee pods for 6 adults. The bathrooms are very dated and worn with paint peeling, doors scraped, water damaged cabinet. The pillows were flat and well worn. We used the sofa bed and all that was provided was a top and bottom sheet. We had to take the cover and pillows from a bed in a bedroom to use on it. It was clean and the cleaning staff was so kind. But the interior of the cotrage (#22) was just so bland and worn out. I did expect a bit more for $2600+ for 3 nights. We loved cannon beach but if we return, we will explore other accommodations. Basics like fluffy pillows, 2 ply toilet paper, nice blankets, some throw rugs, some artwork, and fresh paint would go a long way in making this a much better experience.

The pictures did not march the accommodation. The room was super small. We kept hitting our foot with the bed post since there was so little room between bed, and wall to walk to the bathroom. It was not as expected. Office is located a walk to the Inn. Water and any requests must be made by walking to the office as no one picks up the phone. Staff at the office was a young kid and he was ok. When the portable fan in the room was not working, he sent someone and we realized outlet was not working and fan worked after we changed the outlet. Room had no air conditioner. The only pleasant thing was the sound of water from the water fountain outside that made our experience better. I would not recommend it for us. It felt like a motel 6. It was clean inside. Check in was easy after we figured out where to go for check ins.

Great location!
Great location and lovely garden! One block from the beach and a couple of blocks to all the shops and restaurants. We had some issues with the TV not streaming, but it forced to go and enjoy the sunset at the beach!
