HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WORKERS
My fiancee and I stayed at the Salem premier RV Park for 26 days. Everything was perfect in the beginning, they were super nice and everything was working out fine they accommodated us when we needed to extend our stay with no problem we had to extend twice because the place we were waiting on to get into a monthly spot was not ready yet for us so we paid them like usual with no one telling us that we had only 28 days max and the. We had to leave. Mind you we extended a day before ( we have the emails to back up our statement ) the woman never said q word a bout it not one word like she later said that she informed us every time she extended us which is a LIE!!! The person who left the very first comment is completely 100% being truthful. My fiance called me because he was working in Newport called me and said that he talked to the premier RV park front desk woman and she was going to extend our stay for a day or something well as soon as I got off the phone right after I got off the phone with him I get it banging knock and knock so loud that I thought it was the cops on my door and I get out and it was the manager of the place and I was trying to explain to him that I just got off the phone with my fiance and I I as I was talking to him he wouldn't even let me finish what I was going to say he said you got to leave ma'am you got to leave you stayed over or you got you stayed here 28 days and you cannot stay here no more and you have to leave and if you don't leave I will call the cops on you to make you leave and I told him well I don't have no vehicle my fiance is in Newport working and I have a dog and I can't tow this thing I don't know anybody in Salem and he had no compassion in his heart not an ounce of compassion he looked at me with like I was a pile of crap on the road he I could just feel his hate towards me and I don't even know this guy and I told him I would like to talk to the owner and he said well you can talk to the person that's above me she's up at the office right now but she's just going to tell you the same thing I'm telling you and we go by the book here at premier RV park and I told him well the reason why I even said to my fiance that would stay here is because I read the the comment on the brochure that the owner of this place seen a couple stranded on the side of the road was was so thoughtful and has so much compassion for these people cuz they had a family that he decided to help them and he told them that he owns the RV park down the road and he will take them there he will help him get there and he will let them stay there for a week and I thought what a nice guy he's got all this money and he he's so compassionate and has you know feelings and he he's wants to help this couple that is having a hard time and doesn't even care about the money and it's letting him stay at his place for free I thought what a good guy what if I'm going to stay I'm going to stay at this place I would like to give my money to these people well I told the manager I said you know what that is a b******* lie of a story that's how you get people to stay here because you think you think you're better than me you think you're the manager because you go by the rules I go it's not the consultation not the American Constitution where you can't change the law I go if they make their own laws and rules regulations at this RV park and they could bend the rules . Before I even got mad I said can you at least let me stay until my old man he's on his way back from Newport right as we speak and will you let me wait until he gets here and then we then we'll move to the RV and whatever he interrupted me before I can even finish what I was saying it's a no man you've got to leave you're supposed to be out at 11:00 and I'm not giving you permission for that you need to leave now or I'm going to call the cops and have the authorities get you to leave and he had three co-workers that are the lawn guys that take care of the landscaping the you know the workers that mow the lawn around your camper RV site 24 hours a day it seems like I mean that's all I do is mow the law over and over and over again well I turned and looked and there was three guys that were at the lawn guys laughing at me and I looked and I go what's up with this these people why are they standing there he goes through my witnesses and why would you need witnesses to come and talk to me like he knew what he was going to come and do this guy is the worst manager in on the face of the planet the RV park needs to know the people that own not Park the RV park needs to know what kind of people that they hired they are not good people they're not compassionate they don't understand they don't try to help people they don't give a flying f u c k mind my language they don't care and it hurt my feelings and I was crying and upset and he had the nerve to call my fiance and tell him that I flipped out and made me look like I was a total crazy woman and my fiance called me up got mad at me like it was my fault no it wasn't that guy was a complete narcissist and I regret the day even walked on that Park and gave them any amount of my money because they don't deserve it they get rich off of people that have no clue about them you know they're taking advantage of good people and the people that work there are no better than me yeah you know who you are and karma will get you one day one day you will be in a situation where you are down and out in your luck and a person is going to look at you the way you looked at me and treat you the way you treated me and then you'll think of me and think maybe I shouldn't have treated that woman like that have a good day

Terrible experience
Slum lords of the camping industry. Vile , heatless and money hungry. As I'm sure Catherine and the rest of the office, at Salem Premier will have a lot of low level - half truthed “disputes” about this review I still want to share my almost 7 month long experience with this “resort” and heed a fair warning to anyone looking into this company. If you’re okay with getting thrown out onto the streets with NO notice and treated like actual human garbage then look no further! We will start with the basics, laundry and bathrooms were barely passing as “clean”. Fun features around the area include; living directly off a busy highway, being no less than 10 minutes from your nearest tent city and having to drive through a ran down lumber yard to get to your campsite. Pool and hot tub are great additions! If only they ever cleaned them, but hey who doesn't enjoy swimming and soaking in absolute filth. Now for the worst part - the people that run this place! I lived in this self proclaimed “resort” from September 17th - April 1st , as I am a full time camper. January 13th Karlina and Kelli sent out a mass email stating that: “This is the time of year that we start preparing for our Summer season and try to determine who will be staying with us past April 1st so that we can move them into a year-round monthly site. If this is something you would like to do, please respond to this email and we will begin the search for your new site. WE NEED A RESPONSE FROM YOU BY JANUARY 20TH. If you are planning on moving, please remember that we need a 30-day written notice (ironic if you ask me) which can also be sent via email” Per request, my roommate went down to the office on January 16th. We were told by Karlina that we were already in a long term spot and that we would be extended past April 1st as long term tenants. After this we assumed we were good. We received no other information past this one email in January. Skip forward to April 1st. I get a knock at my camper door around 10am by Tyler and two other men who work for premier. I was told that I needed to be out of my spot by 11am or authorities would be contacted. I was also told that “They had posted a notice on my camper 72 hours ago and it was ignored”. My roommate and I - very confused at the situation at hand - went over to the office to try and get some sort of grasp at what was going on, as we were told we would be extended past April 1st. At the office we were greeted by 2 women. We were informed that they supposedly never “received payment for March”. When we told them that we left our payment in cash - we were practically called liars . They shook their heads at us and kept repeating that they never had received anything in the drop box. They also said that they were refusing to extend our stay due to the “missed payment”. They then asked if we would like to speak to Catherine about the ordeal. In which we were then met with the most dehumanizing interaction we’ve ever had in a “professional” setting. She stormed out of the manager's office and immediately raised her voice at us , proclaiming that we owe HER over $1000 in rent and late fees (rent was in fact paid). She then started counting down our time frame to be out “You have 25 minutes to be out” “You have 24 minutes to be out” “I am fully prepared to call the police”. When brought up with the point that we had 24/7 surveillance cameras outside of our camper and had in fact never received a posted notice she argued “Well those are personal use , so it doesn't matter”. Insanely disheartening the way these people choose to treat other humans. I promise you, they do not care about you or your well being - they care about whatever brings them more money. As stated once before - I'm sure Premier will do their best to try and hush this away - call me “disingenuous” as they've done to countless others and try to air out any “dirt” they can make up. Just a friendly reminder to read and take reviews seriously and be absolutely careful in who you put your trust in and give your money to.

SHAME ON THE OWNERS OF THIS PROPERTY
My husband and I spent 11 nights here. I had a knee replacement and needed some handicap accessible facilities. The property does have the required facilities, the only serious issue is the 40-50 foot ramp up the west entrance of the bath/shower house, is COMPLETELY DARK at night. There are 2 carriage lights at the west entrance that if in working order would provide the necessary light to "light up" the long sidewalk and thus make it SAFE for their guests. There are a total of four lights at the west entrance, only one is in working order, the other three are dark. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and a maintenance guy that happened to be standing at the desk as well. He said he would get right on it and remedy the issue. After 11 nights here, nothing changed. It is difficult to understand the reasoning for this stupidity. Are the owners so "cheap" that they don't want to pay for the electric bill to "light up" the dark ramp? My husband was so upset that he took a video of the area during daylight hours and again at night. The area is so completely dark, not a bit of light, pitch black! An individual such as myself, that needed the handicap facilities could not maneuver this on their own, it would be completely unsafe. And how can a person on crutches carry a flashlight and why should they have to? It is really mind blowing how a corporate entity could be so unprofessional, reckless and disrespectful to their guests to do such an outright stupid thing. To note, the two carriage lights at the other entrance (east) are in working order and do provide light. However, there is no ramp at the east entrance to the bathroom/shower house so if a person wasn't able to use the stairs, they would be out of luck. I hope the owners and workers read this review and do the proper thing and provide a SAFE environment for ALL THEIR GUESTS. This type of behavior is not acceptable and from what we witnessed during our 11 nights here, it appears to be deliberate. SHAME ON THE OWNERS AND STAFF THAT ARE IN CHARGE HERE. Your actions and behavior are extremely offensive! Do the proper thing and get some light on the ramp and west entrance!!!!!

Nice RV resort
Well kept facilities. Very friendly, helpful staff. Always accommodating. We visit this region to visit our daughter play at her nearby college and the staff make an extra effort to help us. They have short and long term options yet the consumers are alway friendly to be around

Great place to go for TENT camping
Most of us tent campers – including me – tend to avoid RV parks. We ended up here when we could not find a tent site any where near Silver Falls State Park. The resort is chock full of side-by-side RVs. But, way in the back there are 5 apparently never-used tent sites. We were the only ones back there. Site #5 is spacious, no noise from RV’ers [some from road]. Our best site of our trip.
