An Amazing and Beautiful RV Resort on the Oregon coast with incredibly helpful and kind staff
Pacific Shores MotorCoach Resort is the best place to stay on the Oregon Coast. The staff is amazing.... especially, Lisa!!! We spent three amazing days here in our new RV and had an unexpected problem retracting our slide out. Lisa was kind, calming and gracious while we waited for a repairman. She understood our delay and went above and beyond to assist us. Pacific Shores is very well maintained, beautiful and the beach was fantastic!

Beautiful Luxurious Resort
Treat yourself to a stay here. Absolutely gorgeous luxurious park on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. Easy access from Route 101. Everything is impeccably maintained and the park is well designed. Staff checked us in at our coach when we arrived and then we were guided to our site. Wide, paved roads throughout. Since this is an ownership park, each site differs based on improvements made by its owner. Our site, #93, had a paved parking area and concrete patio with Adirondack chairs and picnic table, surrounded by shrubs and flower beds. No problems getting level, and all utilities worked as expected. Sites are large. Both staff and the owners in sites surrounding us were friendly. There are 2 fenced dog parks, although they are out of the way on the edges of this large park. There were some other areas for leash walking. There is a large green space in the center of the park with walking trails. There is access to a private beach. Two laundry rooms; the one closest to us was clean and well equipped. We stayed for a week and wished we had booked a longer stay. Next time we will.

Pacific Shores Family Friendly Review
We're a full-time motorhome family of four - kids 8 and 10. We own at PacShores and have been there for over a year. We rented over the past few years and had such a good experience, we decided to buy. Our kids have been welcomed by the community, and now have a "family" here. We love the amenities like the pools, easy beach access, and the kids have space to ride their bikes and scooters. There are FREE volunteer led events open to renters and owners. The grounds are well maintained, and we've never had a problem here - as renters or owners. I read a previous review stating the park is not kid friendly. That's not true. Some points were valid and happened during their visit, but there's two sides to every story. As we stayed near that couple, they may have watched their children, but their friends down the way did not. The children were often seen together therefore no one realized whose kids were whose. Children were left unattended at times during a free painting event and left a disaster for the volunteers to clean up, leaving paint on the floor. In the pool, while I was there with my kids, some of this group's kids came in, under 10, unattended. There is a waiver you sign coming in to PacShores stating no child under 14 can be on property without an adult. Summer is a busy time for vehicular traffic in the park. We had various reports at the office of unattended children almost being hit by cars. We had reports of children riding electric scooters dangerously (I heard and saw it). Kids came in the clubhouse on skates and were told not to (by me and then another owner) and kept doing it. I saw a 4-ish-year-old walking down a street by herself. We're an owner-based community and it's all of our responsibilities to make sure kids are SAFE. I'm sorry they had a poor experience, but it could have been avoided.

Good until the two days...
The amenities were decent. The Hot Tub was broken the entire time we were there. Most of the guests were extremely kind to us that were around us. Many even stopped by to chat about different places to travel. The two gentlemen that checked us in were very nice as well .. One night we had a tweeter girl wake us up at 4:30 in the morning by banging on our door and then banging on other coaches and darting between them. We called 911 and let the office know. The office is aware of this girl according to the many people who stopped by throughout the day. Needless to say this was a terrible way to start our day… The next day before we were to check - there was a new man (afternoons) in a golf cart that came over to tell us that our kids needed to be watched at all times and that under constant supervision - as OUR KIDS WERE. We were outside with our kids while they played. The obeyed the 5 MPH (unlike many of the adults on their scooters and electric bikes) and we were sitting outside with them the entire time. Our kids moved to the side when people drove through (over the speed limit). However, this man had the audacity to tell us that we had too many kids (a bunch of other kids from somewhere else came over to the area). When I corrected him and told him multiple times they were not our children - he said “the older folk can’t see well and I don’t want your kids to get hurt and I don’t want to have to get the board involved or one of them to call.” First of all - those kids once again were not ours ( and I stated AGAIN that to him - when he asked who their parents were (the boys and girl were unable to tell him) they were all over the park unsupervised and second how rude to say you are going to involve the board. The next day he came back and talked to my husband - this time approaching him by reading the rules without even saying hello or introducing himself. When my husband told him “my kids are all inside - I don’t know whose children those are AND my wife already talked to you about this yesterday go find their parents” — he didn’t even apologize. NOT family friendly, NOT family oriented, NOT kind. If you are going to allow people to rent spaces for periods of time and have issues with children - then DON’T allow children. Also take a look at your customer service skills - this could have been handled better. We don’t know where the boy and girl came from - should have figured that out first if they were the problem.

Awesome spot on Oregon Coast
This is a lovely resort right on the coast. Clean, quiet, level spots, wifi, cable tv, laundry, indoor/outdoor pools, saunas, jacuzzi, pickle ball and more. There is a trail down to the beach trail or enjoy beautiful views from the grassy area along the cliffs. This is truly a one of a kind report.
