We stayed on Lot#49 and it was amazing! Sunset every night through thru trees to the ocean, no green flash but no worries. Perfect site for an evening glass of wine and visits from local property owners. Highly recommend the resort and property.

horrible operation. horrible...unkind, dimisive people that run the resort. We made 3 night reservations on a premium site costing 1100 dollars. We planned this trip 5 months in advance in honor or my late mother in law who loved Newport OR. We drove 1000 miles and our whole two week trip was centered around our sty in Newport. I xalled and talked to reservation specialist and despite her CONFIRMING my rig was 24.6 in total leangth and is stamped as a Class C 2026 model she approved my request despit website saying its a 25ft min. She confirmed to me that that 6 in is neglagiable I trusted her . The day before our reservations i got a text from resort confirming i was coming in the rig stated in my reservations . Yes i was. everything was approved. we left an amazing familmy camp and drove an hour plus north wtih a toddler and two dogs and pulled up at resort. The very rude and unwelcoming Wendy sighed and said "sorry you cant stay hee" gave me a list of locl state campgrounds and said i wold have better luck there. Zero regard for all the planning and efforts . She even said that she had the reservation specalist relisten to our recorded phone convo and said if i didnt call to make my reservations she would not have given me my 1100 dollars back . We spent 5 months preparing for this trip, telling everyone about our speical stay in memory of my mother in law to only arrive and be treated like an unwelcomed low lying bystander ... Horrible people and stuffy resort with rigid rigd rules . The energy surrounding htat place is off and from other reviews fom other who have experienced very negative exoerience its looks like i am deff not that only one sadly. Beware... there is someting not normally transpiring with this company and schemy interactions are to be noted . never have i recieved such rude, unwelcoming people . Your whole operations there at the resort should go to finishing school>. And yes I mean you too HOA president who was hiding behind a darkaned glass wall trying to avoid a very unfortunate situation. I sit here at meage state campsite honoring our Oma , far away from the beach wtih a deflated heart.

Worst service ever
Booked a stay. Bad weather came in. Per agreement ok to cancel within 48 hours which I did, or attempted to do. Management told me that they couldn’t cancel unless the roads were totally close. So they were rather I drive my family 10 hours through mountain show and very high winds, many trucks were pulled over on side of road because of bad conditions. I did drive my 4x4 pickup to the area and I never would have made it in my motorhome. To make it worse I got multi calls from they wanting to know when I would arrive. I answered the first three calls and of course they asked why I wasn’t going to stay there went through same story and again same response. I quit with the phone calls from them. WORST SERVICE EVER. If you’re not going to honor an agreement don’t offer it.

When you book a reservation at Pacific Shores MotorCoach Resort you will be responsible for 30% of the total booking if you cancel, even months in advance. My reservation was for July 1st-15th, 2025. I cancelled the reservation in January 2025. My deposit was $1,351.16 out of this amount I received a refund of only $640.40 even though I cancelled 5 months prior to the arrival date. I feel quit sure they have already rebooked this site.

Having stayed at this park many times over the last 10 years, I can say it is beautiful and well maintained, always. What fluctuates are the TV cable connections which did not work this last time (and when we got to the next park it was working again), hot tub/pool (closed our entire stay)…just not as advertised and no one around to help as the office isn’t open all day or accessible for assistance as it used to be. An idea is to message guests to check in and see if they have any needs, and if so, who to contact.
