Great accommodations, weather, marina, and staff.
We recently enjoyed a stay in a tiny house at Lake Simtustus Resort. The launching facilities at nearby Pelton Park Marina was excellent, and the marina at Simtustus was great. It was reassuring to have boat slip on the docks that was large enough to keep our 22’ classic boat secure. The tiny house was clean, the space well designed, and the kitchen well stocked with all we needed. The patio, grill, and hot tub were enjoyed as well. Of course, the views of the lake and surrounding wilderness were delightful. Having a golf cart to get up and down the hills was a plus. I highly recommend Lake Simtustus Resort.

Beautiful Central Oregon Resort!
We loved having our trailer so close to the water. The staff was very accommodating and check in was a breeze. We rented a party barge and found a quiet area on the lake, to enjoy the water and cool off. The scenery is amazing and we definitely will be back.

Beautiful lakeside RV resort
We stayed in an RV in loop A which is lakeside. The views from there are wonderful. You can walk your kayak right from your campsite to the boat ramp. The paddling is beautiful. The staff here at the resort are very attentive to details. They were cleaning...sweeping, blowing, washing off, etc., ...all the time. They were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms in loop A were spotless and there is even a nice shower. We would definitely go here again. It is worth it to pay more to be down by the water.

RV lakeside sites
Beautiful area. Excellent weather. The manager was very helpful and was working very hard to accommodate everyone. He was shorthanded so it was doing most of everything by himself. The lake side sites have great access to the boat dock and boat ramp. Great view of this section of the lake. The only drawback where the trees that were full of worms. The wind would blow the worms off the trees and if you are sitting in your chair they would get on your clothing. Also, there was a lot of black matter which there was a discussion of what that was. The trees need to be sprayed because they're just covered with worms and that is probably the only thing that diminished our stay there.

Inch worms falling from the trees a bother but overall good experience
If you camp by the lake (A loop) the trees drop and cover your clothes, chairs, etc. with inch worms. Leaves are covered with holes the the worms eat. Your stuff laying outside gets covered with a kind of brown like droppings. Yuk! The manager works very hard because he has limited staff. I would personally give him 10 stars. They are working very hard to improve the property. I would stay there again maybe in the spring or fall before the inch worms make a mess....
